We enjoyed our stay a lot! Perfect place to have a relaxing weekend and we felt right at home on the farm. The complimentary bread, rusks and milk was a nice touch!

What a beautiful spot! The view is exquisite, it is very quiet and private. So peaceful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Unit is comfortable and we utilised the much needed indoor fireplace. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to make meals. The one bathroom only has a bath, so bear that in mind if you are sharing with others. A magic spot in an awesome location! Susanna was very responsive to requests. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Susanna!!

Lovely place in the mountains. Great to spot animals on drives and walks you can do by your own. Nice playground at the office. Thanks for welcoming and hosting us.

I have stayed at this villa previously and it is fantastic with all of the required for a great holiday with children. The location is also brilliant - close to the dam, on the golf course and there is a swimming pool and tennis court on the estate. The estate is also secured and monitored 24/7.

We had a great stay! Great house with everything you need in a lovely and safe neighborhood! We enjoyed sunsets at the lake 2 mins walking, the pool and terrace, amazing vinyards in Wellington…and much more. Elena was very friendly, always available. We felt at home!

Chandre is a fantastic host! Her Airbnb is cozy, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. The decor is stunning, and the furniture and cutlery are of excellent quality. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!

We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment over the Literary Festival weekend . Everything about it was great . It was so special to arrive & find tasty treats , tea ,coffee and milk in the fridge . It was perfectly located for beautiful walks in the morning and strolls to various restaurants in the evening. Very nicely settled on a working farm - the daytime view is amazing and sunset is always great when mountain ranges are involved. The apartment (which is bigger than some houses in the U.K.) had everything you needed for a long or a short stay and the braai wood was exceptionally dry (which makes catering for a family of 5 a breeze). Swimming pool warm by Ceres standards and fairly large, with some shade from the 40 degree heat we had upon our arrival. As it’s self-catering, get your provisions before check-in, because once you’re there, you don’t really want to leave again. All in all a great place and it is child-friendly (i.e. not much stuff for a bunch of boys to get stuck into when things get quiet). Thank you for the stay.

This apartment was above and beyond any expectations . Check in was easy and Monika helped us find a driver for the next day. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with everything we needed and more . Every fixture felt luxurious . It had a beautiful covered balcony to watch the sunset from and an easy walk into town to the restaurants . The wells ticked wine fridge was a plus . Cannot recommend enough!

We had a wonderful two night stay at Adri’s place. The location was beautiful and the space suited to a group travelling together. The kids loved having access to the club pools for swims. We did have difficulty checking in and locating the place as it was listed as Val de Vie but was on Pearly Valley Golf Estate. The estate has complex check in procedures for security but once you have gone through this then it becomes easier. Adri was always very responsive and assisted us when needed. The only thing that would make this place better is that the kitchen could be better stocked. Thanks for a great stay!

I absolutely loved my stay. The farm is so scenic and peaceful. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. There are loads to see and do. Especially if you love birds. Beautiful and easy walking trails. Perfect to break away. The hosts are kind, helpful and passionate about the farm.

We had such a lovey stay at Shane's farm. The location was perfect - down a beautiful quiet farm road, and close to top wine farms such as Rust en Vrede and Uva Mira. Also very easy to make a trip into Stellenbosch village. The home was cosy and authentic, with lovely fire places for cold nights. We enjoyed experiencing farm life, with sheep, turkeys and donkeys passing by, and Shane and her husband were very kind in involving my son in the feeding of the animals. We will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

Property was absolutely beautiful and host was extremely attentive – we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend.
