If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

If you need tv or internet to survive we recommend that you search for something closer to city. This house/ cottage suits family’s who wants to be close to nature. We had a very nice time in the picturesque village of Stenberga! The lovingly renovated house is well suited as a starting point for hikes & excursions in Småland. The amenities are perfect for spending a long time there even with a toddler: from a baby bed to a high chair to toddler dishes and cutlery, everything is available. Communication with Clasina also went very well - we would be happy to recommend the place!

Fantastic and charming cottage with direct access to lake and nature. We had a nice extended weekend, with fishing, boat trips, outdoor tubs and coziness in the cabin. Although the weather was not quite as good, you get everything you need - the view from the cottage is beautiful and the cottage is lovely and cozy decor. Beautiful place. We'd love to come again

Charming cottage on your own island

Fantastic cozy cabin on small charming island in a lovely swimming lake. So cozy and quiet to be on the island completely private. Parking right next to the little dinghy you had to sail over to the island, which was easy. We got 20 liters of drinking water upon arrival by the host, and were able to fill it up during the stay. There were two gas burners in the kitchen and a small “cave” outside the house, which could keep food reasonably cool. We will definitely be back!
