Unfortunately you cannot dive from or dock boat on wharf. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing or simply just putting your feet up and relaxing. After a day on the water relax in front of a small campfire and watch the boats returning for the evening as the sunsets. A perfect, well deserved day of peace, calm and tranquility.

Built in 2018, our cozy cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 guests who will have full access to 2 bedrooms plus 1 loft! There’s a second level balcony, where you catch the morning sunrise and the front deck offers views from the ocean with amazing sunsets. Our cottage is a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, minutes away from la plage St. Pierre, a short distance to Le Portage Golf course and the National Park. ** our cottage is approx. 50 feet from a gradual 8-10 feet drop to the rock beach below

You will enjoy amazing privacy and a beautiful space. Bucklaw is central to all of Cape Breton’s major attractions. To determine distances, just put Bucklaw, NS into Google Maps.

MacLeod Cove is a 4-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. We upgraded our wifi to high speed fiber in 2026. It is very nicely renovated and completely equipped for you to enjoy a weekend gateway or a longer vacation.
