Our stay at Candice's cabin on the Conecuh River was exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the serene setting and gorgeous views. The cabin was exceptionally well-provisioned, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, cookware, utensils, and even some spices, making it easy to prepare meals. The living area was cozy and inviting and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, like extra throws, pillows and video games and board games for family fun. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable, with fresh linens and plenty of storage space. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing us with local recommendations, literature, and ensuring we had everything we needed. We loved spending our days by the river fishing and the evenings were perfect for enjoying the porch and patio. This cabin truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return this summer!

Our stay was great! Melissa and her husband provided us with a place to store our boat trailer during our stay, as parking is in a shared driveway. The online pictures do not do the place justice. Our expectations were exceeded, as the overall property is beautiful and well kept. Great place to bring the family or just couples retreat. Easy access to the water, beautiful sunsets and in town dining only 10 miles away. We will be back again.

I can't say how wonderful our stay at John boy's place was. We came here because of the accessible shower- my Dad is bed bound and hadn't been able to get under running water in over 2 years. It was such a load off of my mother and I to be able to shower him and have such a nice comfy hospital bed for him. Plus be able to roll him down by the water. We ate, kayaked, played and got the much needed rest for our minds and souls. My dad, who has the beginnings of dementia, noticed how comfy the hospital bed was and said he liked it. He also loved sitting by the water. He remarked about how peaceful it was. I got to see relief in my mom's eyes and she was even dancing in the kitchen, which I haven't seen her do in years. I can not say enough good things about this place. Stay here, you will be well taken care of.

House was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was stocked. Comfortable beds. Host was very friendly. Neighborhood was really quiet. Close to shopping and gas.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! We will be coming back to Alabama at least a few times a year, and I’m going to check this location first. The home is beautiful and on a large parcel of wooded land, private and relaxing. The decor is charming, and the kitchen had every utensil that we needed for dinner each night. The host was responsive to our messages and was likewise, proactively communicative when we needed to be made aware of anyone coming on to the property during our rental term. Aside from some very minor issues, our stay was perfect and, as I’ve said, we’ll be looking to rent this home again when we come back to town.

Awesome place a block from Main Street square in Troy. Jennifer made sure we had a wonderful stay- told us of the festival at the square which we enjoyed . Accommodations were excellent from the wonderful comfy mattress and fresh smelling linens to the thoughtfully and beautifully decorated space. An unexpected large tray of snacks awaited us with several bottled waters as well as plenty of coffee-so appreciated after our long drive from SC. Would love to stay here again if we are ever back this way!

I had a fantastic stay at this charming studio apartment! The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed. The kitchenette was perfect for preparing quick meals, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with essentials. It’s clear the host takes great pride in maintaining the property — every detail felt welcoming and intentional. While I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it looked absolutely beautiful and well-maintained — a great bonus for anyone looking to relax during their stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the location made it easy to get around. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from start to finish. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-kept place to stay!

This was an awesome stay! It's tucked just off the main road so it's very quiet but also super convenient to get around Enterprise; an easy 15 minute drive from Fort Novosel. Instructions were clear and there were no issues at any point in my extended stay. The yard was completely fenced in which was wonderful for my pets, and there was a washer/dryer and a very well equipped kitchen. The piano was a very nice touch.
