La Chassagne is the perfect escape for large families or groups to relax and gaze upon the french countryside of rolling hills of quilted sunflower and rapeseed, orchards and chateaux, and sip wine in the shade of an ancient oak. With six acres there is plenty of room for everyone. The farmhouse has two cottages and each has two bedrooms with dining, living, and outdoor lounging/dining areas. In the Sioule Gorges, about 500 meters from the river. Quiet, in its green setting. No neighbors nearby. The cottage is independent of the owners' home. It is an old house tastefully renovated: parquet, exposed stones, exposed framework. Beautiful view. It has a covered terrace, access to the (unheated) swimming pool from June to September. The sauna (wood-fired) is accessible all year round and promises you perfect moments of relaxation.

This peaceful home offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. View of the Bourbonnaise countryside. We do allow pets. We rent by the week from June to September, preferably otherwise 3 nights minimum for the rest of the year for organizational reasons. Around the cottage, many visits, tourist activities and hikes are available to you (canoeing...) 1.5 km away, bakeries, grocery, pharmacy, tourist office, doctors, veterinarian etc...
