The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

In the heart of the old district, a 5-minute walk from the city center and 3 minutes from the Berry Canal. Accommodation adjacent to the owners' home, Georges and Pierre welcome you. The living room is on the ground floor with its fully equipped kitchen area and living room, access to a shared bucolic backyard in a café-brocante spirit. The bathroom with a washing machine and the toilet are separate. The sleeping area is upstairs, the landing serves two attic bedrooms.

The house was built from former horse stables and will surprise you with many pretty details. The house is very comfortably furnished: on the ground floor there is a well-equipped, open kitchen with dining area as well as a comfortable living room with TV/DVD. Everything is spacious, open and cozy. Upstairs are two bedrooms with a private bathroom, either with shower or bathtub. In addition, there are two outdoor seating areas with barbecue facilities.

The Clos Monade is located in the heart of the village near the Cluniac Abbey of Souvigny. Built in the 10th century Souvigny becomes one of the original outbuildings of the Burgundian Abbey. Accommodation located 5 min walk from the historic center.
