Waterfront vacation rentals in Borneo

The location is truly exceptional. We could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to visit. The riverwalk went right by the condo. On New Year’s Eve we had a great view of the fireworks from the balcony. It was a great place to enjoy two weeks in Kuching. I highly recommend it!

stay 3 days 2 pm , overall everything is ok, the homestay is the best only thing that lacks parking , parking is for guests so if you want to park in the building you have to pay , if you pay you have to park a little outside, you even want to go up and get a cheap 😂 parking building that's also an hour Rm1 nah matai 😌

High value accommodation at a good price, Simeon was in contact with us throughout the stay. At check-in, he was waiting for us at the front desk, explaining everything. He was very kind and helpful. The amenities of the place were perfect, everything was functional. The washer dryer is very useful. We also visited the pool on the 6th floor, the water was clean and the atmosphere by the pool was very nice. Location is within walking distance to markets, shopping center, and especially to the harbor. We will definitely visit again. Strongly recommend. Thank you for a great stay.

My stay at Catherine's place was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Catherine was an incredibly welcoming and responsive host, offering thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The location was fantastic, conveniently close to shops and a mall, yet peaceful and quiet during the evenings. I highly recommend Catherine's Airbnb to anyone visiting the area—I would definitely stay here again!

The unit is big, cosy and comfortable. The location is good, walking distance to many entries and few minutes drive to the morning market.

Emily is very friendly. Her home is cozy and clean, and she even provided slippers, a toothbrush, and towels! It was a great accommodation experience.

We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

WOW - an amazing 5D/4N. 5 glorious days of relaxing: 2+h snorkeling trips every morning & even longer trips in the afternoons, fishing from the "flying banana", swimming with green turtles, evenings chilling on a private deck in the hammocks or ocean swing & just time to breathe & discover island life (outside of the westernised veneer of the resorts). It takes less than 30min to circumnavigate Mabul at a leisurely pace. We met Reed & Nor as hosts & guests but became friends. With no running hot water (that said the cold showers were refreshing & very welcome), no air con (in 39+ C but fans in our bedroom with a full opening wall to the deck provided more than adequate ventilation) & sporadic electricity it is not for everyone but adds to the authenticity of living on the island (& with power banks was no issue at all). Al (boat driver & turtle spotter 🐢 extrodinaire) & Ry (house helper) couldn't have been kinder when stepping up to run lodge unexpectedly. Amazing meals & perfect stay

I would say that the home felt very cosy and a quiet place for family. On top of the all excellent amenities and facilities such as bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, the host really pull an effort to make the place feels like home by providing indoor boardgames such as scrabble, carrom and congkak, which lighten up the moods for my kids. Overall, excellent stay and highly recommended.

We loved staying at Grace Guesthouse. We loved the stream and spent an entire day just playing there. There are spectacular views just outside the house. It's away from any modern amenities, but one goes here to get away from the city life. Would be lovely if we could return here sometime. Thank you for all your help and kindness!

Very homey place, free WiFi, room was nice and had everything we needed. Few shops and restaurants nearby, the location was nice enough. Host was responsive and friendly! Highly recommended

The host was particularly friendly, I checked in at night and had a lot of questions to ask, she would always reply patiently, including needing to leave luggage would also recommend a nearby storehouse.Awesome! I'll choose you when I come back to Kota Kinabalu again😊😊

The space for our family of six was totally fine, there was hot water in all three rooms, remember to turn on the switch in advance.It is also possible to do it yourself in the kitchen, but the market in Kota Kinabalu can't buy live seafood.The picture is an ocean view of the balcony, and on the first night I saw the night.

We love the coziness of the place and all ammenities are well provided. Easy access to parking lot and to the mall. We will definitely book this place again👍🏼

My son and I stayed in this room for two weeks. The room was as clean as the pictures show, and the bathroom was new and easy to use. Because it is a new condo, the surrounding rooms were under construction, but the host, Penny, gave us information in advance and was a very kind host. During our stay, we were unable to use the pool due to events and cleaning, so my son said he would like to come here again and use the pool this time.
