Kijk vanuit de overkapping met houtkachel uit over het zwemmeer. Er zijn 2 raskatten aanwezig (heel lief). 2 stranden aan het meer gelegen en een mooi speelpark op loopafstand, waar genoeg te doen is voor kinderen van alle leeftijden. Tijdens het verblijf pas je op een kat en 3 kippen. Vanaf Harkstede is er een directe busverbinding naar Groningen, maar de afstand is ook prima te fietsen.
