Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Borak

Our party of 4 mature adults had an excellent stay. The house is located in the old pedestrian-only part of Omis, directly below the castle - a really atmospheric location. Given that no access is possible by car, we were met by the owners, Marina and Josep, who took us and our luggagge the short distance from the car to the house. Some steps involved but nothing of consequence. The nearest free ( and very large) car park is about 5 mins walk from the house. M&J were splendid hosts - friendly, informative and responded immediately to any queries. The property is an old family house that has been modernised throughout and has all the mod cons that one would expect for a comfortable stay - so much so that we relaxed and ate in as much as we ate out. Omis itself is in a beautiful location, set on the Adriatic with a magnificent backdrop of the massive limestone cliffs of the Cetina River Gorge. All in all, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the absolutely quiet location with the fantastic view of the sea. Olive trees, broom, hares, many birds create the feeling of being in the middle of nature. The house was perfectly equipped, the rooms were pleasant and the mosquito protection in front of all windows and doors was reassuring. Shade is also sufficiently available. This place is highly recommended.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

This place is absolutely like the pictures let you imagine. Peaceful und privat. It was great watching the amazing view to the Sea in the hammock with different colours at different times of the day and night. The apartment was well equipment Kitchen and clean spaces. Spacious parkingspot for even a big car. We're coming back, thanks Marko! 😊

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Milena and Mirko’s villa. From the moment we arrived, Milena made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality was truly above and beyond – always available, kind, generous and full of advice and local secrets.  Mirko was equally lovely – a kind-hearted host who regularly checked on the villa to make sure everything was perfect. He even brought us thoughtful little gifts during our stay, which made us feel extra special. The villa itself is immaculately maintained. The pool and hot tub are outstanding, and the outdoor summer kitchen is a dream come true – perfect for cooking and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. The view from the villa gave us a true sense of peace and escape. We can't recommend this place enough. It’s clear that Milena and Mirko put their hearts into hosting this villa. We would definitely return.

Beautiful old house with lots of charm. We immediately felt at home. Animal lover, with lots of cats. Close to everything as it is in the city center. Beautiful to the river Cetina. Close to the beach. Everything was explained to us nicely and we had a very nice time there. Glad to come back

We had a more than great stay! The environment is extremely pleasant, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. In addition to the warm welcome from the hosts, the city of Omis is beautiful and full of local surprises. To relax and enjoy the beach, this is the perfect place!

I came to spend a few days with my mother in Tafra's accommodation, it was a great Airbnb with an amazing view. The pool and hot tub are a real plus. The accommodation was very clean with everything you need in it We can't wait to go back.

Ana’s place was perfect for what we needed! It was in a quiet area with walking distance away from the town and the stores. Ana was also very responsive and proactive with her communication!

The location of the apartment was great and the apartment was perfectly equipped. The kitchen even had basic food, spices and detergents ready. In addition, there were fruits, homemade bread, pastries and a bottle of wine as a welcome. Petar is a great host. His service, kindness and response speed to messages is really good. Even the parking fee for the car on the street was taken care of in advance for the entire rental period. Really excellent service. We can recommend 100%.

The view from the apartment was absolutely incredible and we loved having access to the sea. Ana’s communication was also great. This really is a fantastic place to stay!

Our stay here was so amazing and everything we hoped for and more!! The property looked like the photos and was even more beautiful in person. We had plenty of space and were comfortable as the place was very clean and felt right at home. The amenities were the best part. We highly enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

We stayed a week at the apartment. Lea and her family were very friendly and helpful. Private beach right outside. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Uber to Split took around 20 minutes and cost 10-15 euro. We had a wonderful time, would recommend!

This was the PERFECT place to stay in Split. The location was ideal for us — close enough to walk easily to town, but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Easy access to the beach. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a view we will never forget. Igor was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful, and gave us some wonderful recommendations for food and drinks in town! Highly recommend and hope we can make it back someday.

Excellent location. Right next Marjan park. walkable distance to many places including old city and port. Sunny rooftop 1 bedroom appartment is very cozy with all needed amenities. View of the port is a huge relaxing point. Watching cruises and ferries. Waking up with birds, sunrise over the mountains. Love it. And highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Anamarija's. The flat was very nice, new, and well stocked. The location was great, close to beaches, the port, and restaurants. Anamarija was responsive and helpful, and also provided all the extras needed for a baby. Would definitely stay again.
