Rose Cottage - a home from home

KatarzynaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We very much enjoyed the stay in Rose Cottage. Location was perfect. We could enjoy several hours walk starting our route from the cottage or next day drive a bit further for hiking around Scafell Pike. The cottage is clean, comfortable, well equipped and has nice garden with a view of hills also visible from bedrooms. We will be back:-)
A serene landscape features a calm lake reflecting the surrounding mountains. The peaks, partially capped with snow, rise majestically against a clear blue sky. Gentle slopes of rust-colored foliage enhance the natural beauty of the area, inviting outdoor exploration.

The Old School House - Eskdale

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a great place and a perfect getaway for a weekend away climbing with friends. The facilities were just what we needed with 4 rooms of mixed sized. The kitchen was well-equipped and the showers warm. If you are looking for a great place within spitting distance of climbing, ghyll scrambles, amazing views and pub grub, then this is the place to go. Many thanks!
A winding road leads along the edge of a serene lake, flanked by rolling hills and mountains in the background. Lush green grass and a solitary tree are visible on the shoreline, contributing to the tranquil landscape under a clear blue sky.

Low Wood Lodge, two en-suite bedroom self catering

LeanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Low wood lodge is a lovely place to stay. It’s really cosy, clean and the kitchen is very spacious. The area is so quiet, also very close to the beautiful lake. Kaeren is friendly and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

Room Two Is A 2 minute walk from the Lake & Town.

TianyiRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Jane is a brilliant host, her place is very close to the bus stop, and you can basically travel by bus everywhere. She was super nice and kind to me, she took me out walking the next day (b/c she wasn’t busy), and we had the best time! The Lake District is an amazing place, I’ll definitely return for more walks and will gladly stay at Jane’s again. Thank you for making my trip extra memorable!

High Park - perfectly peaceful, magnificent views

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wendy and Tony were fantastic hosts, and they made us feel totally at home. The location is so special, right on the Cumbria Way. We are so grateful for all the extra help - notably a request for porridge for breakfast before a race I had, and helping me to dry out my shoes afterwards!

Buckbarrow, 6 Stuart house, Wasdale,ca20 1et

Great place to stay with a great view and so close to scafell pike. We struggled to find in the first place but the instructions were clear when on the right road and was our own fault. Can't fault the apartment itself has everything you need.
