A few minutes walk from both the train station and the town centre, it is a perfect location to access all the amenities of town and to explore the Peak District (a 10 minute drive). Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

With uninterrupted views of the local woodland, DOVE is a unique place to stay. Relax and enjoy the nature, with walks down the canal or over to the National trust property Lyme Park. Why not bring your bikes to explore the surrounding area. Dog friendly None of our B&Bs have WiFi TV only plays DVDs. We supply 1 bucket of firewood. Charcoal/extra wood must be brought by guests. It is a short walk from your vehicle, so not suitable for people with mobility issues. There is parking for 2 Cars.
