Björkö has fine scenic walking trails. There are restaurants and take away food as well as Ica close by. If you're drawn to city life, take the bus into central Gothenburg and Liseberg.

Our beautiful island is a real archipelago idyll. There are no cars here, just houses, small marinas, walking paths, our famous lighthouse, Bohuslän cliffs and saltwater swimming at one of our nice swimming areas. The island belongs to Öckerö municipality and is located 2 minutes west of Gothenburg with ferry traffic around the clock.
