The Cart Lodge a cosy rural hideaway

Situated in a secluded part of our 16th century farm, this detached, south facing cart barn has been converted to a very high standard. In an ideal location overlooking a large duck pond and with distant views to the South Downs. It is a great base for walking the Wealdway or cycling the Cuckoo Trail. The Potting Shed is a fabulous space to spend time with family and friends. With easily access to footpaths local beaches and historic sites such as Battle Abbey, Herstmoneux Castle , Hasting Old Town, Bodium Castle etc.The Potting Shed has its own self contained garden (fenced) so well-behaved dogs are more than welcome. All the pubs and resturants locally to us allow dogs . No stag or hendos - sorry! we can sleep 4 x adults but also 2 x children on pull out beds.

Chill out spot

Chill and unwind at this peaceful, cozy little cabin. We're in a small village in East Sussex, a short walk (and I do mean short) to a lovely little country pub, with public footpaths nearby, the seaside and historical landmarks a short drive away. If you just wanna stay put and relax in the swim spa, that's okay too. It's your call. (Just a quick note to say this is a NO SMOKING venue. Please also be mindful of neighbours. The swim spa closes at 11:00 p.m.)
