Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bocca di Magra

We had a great time at Caterina’s place. 6 of us stayed there and was great to all have our own bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The house and gardens had plenty of space to mingle together or to spread out and do our own thing. The location was so peaceful and the views incredible. Not great if you struggle with walking uphill and there are lots of steps to and from the train station and village. Although there is a shuttle bus. Was great to visit all the Cinque Terre towns but not to stay in the hustle and bustle. Great stay and can’t thank Caterina enough, it is a beautiful place to stay!

Very nice big apartment in a medieval village square with lots of character. Go and have a drink with the locals at the bar 2 doors away, they are very friendly.

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Ilaria was a wonderful host. The house is located on top of a hill, with a huge and very nice garden and wonderful views. Perfect for kids to play.

Beautiful accommodation! We really liked how the interior and exterior are furnished. I particularly liked the garden. Many evocative corners to discover, with statues hidden in the greenery and small tables. Ideal location to spend a weekend in the countryside relaxing away from the city.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location! An attentive and very kind host! The bedding is super comfortable and the place is as shown in the pictures. Breakfast is awesome! You can go there without a second thought!

It was a wonderful experience, in a house that is nothing short of perfect: private parking, a house well-stocked with everything, very clean, quiet, a great mattress, even the possibility of eating outside thanks to a private terrace. All this is in the context of the small town of Pitelli, a hamlet 8 km from La Spezia, which has an excellent supermarket, a pizzeria, an Arci club, a butcher shop, and even a pharmacy! All within a 3/4-minute walk from the house. Enviable location, impeccable service from the host and attentive to our needs: we can't wait to go back!

You open the gate to the property and think you've landed in paradise. We spent a fantastic two weeks in this dream house. The view of the bay and the village are amazing. The pool is huge and everything was well maintained. Valentina & Jacopo are very warm hosts with great tips who take great care of their guests. They came by often and cleaned the pool, mowed the lawn, etc. The house is super nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable there. The only thing I would have found great would be fly screens, so you can open the windows at night without being bitten, but that's really all. So, complaining at a very high level ;). The village of Monte Marcello is super nice and idyllically located, with a great view. From there we made excursions to Pisa, Florence, Lerici, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, etc. To sum it up: It was a dream!!!

the house was really nice, located on a quiet hillside with no neighbors around, so you had a lot of privacy. It had three clean and beautiful bedrooms, and the house stayed cool during hot weather, which was really refreshing. We even had a friendly cat as a neighbor, and the host, Elisa, was super responsive and helpful. Everything in the kitchen was well-equipped, so cooking was easy and convenient.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

This Villa was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in as part of our family vacation to Italy. We are a group of 9, including 1 baby and 2 small children, and the Villa was perfect for our stay. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the pool and the patio was perfect for our Chef prepared dinner. Thomas and Enrico were amazing hosts and super responsive to any questions. The Villa is walkable to the Towne Center, train station, and grocery store. We HIGHLY recommend the Villa and hope to be able to return someday.

We had an amazing stay at Juri's beautiful villa in Tuscany! The place is super spacious, easily accommodating our group of 11, and it was spotless and very well maintained. Juri and his mom were incredible hosts—always responsive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location is also perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. If you're looking for a charming, well-kept and very clean villa with top-notch hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommend! Let me know if you'd like any tweaks!

What an amazing stay! The views from the villa are spectacular, and the villa itself was immaculate. It felt so private & peaceful. We had Chef Niki come for a private dinner and a cooking class, and he was fantastic. Brunella and Giacomo were very helpful and responsive before our stay and throughout our time there. I’m already dreaming about coming back!

Francesca is like a godmother who is always lovingly pampered by. And she can be the best one! She has it, together with her chickens and dogs Rio and Cucqui, very well arranged in her paradise above Barga. We drank freshly picked tea, ate the most creamy eggs, and made us marvel at the glittering hills of the fireflies. Wow! The mornings started mega cheerfully with a cute characteristic bakery that came home & the evenings we spent under the great canopy; feet up, wine and Italian dinners. Grazie mille Francesca for this wonderfully welcoming and relaxing holiday!

Perfect apartment for a couple's vacation, complete with everything and with a functional kitchen for cooking. Small outdoor area where you can relax. Free parking in the vicinity of the apartment. Chiara has always been quick and kind in communicating with us.

Our stay was absolutely enjoyable. The village is peaceful and authentic, with a very local feel. The apartment was clean and ideally located, just about a one-minute walk from the beach. Franca and Giacomo were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome and shared plenty of great tips for things to do in the area. We’d be happy to come back anytime! This is a gem of a place. The name says “Tiny” but it is not tiny at all. It’s very spacious! Good location, close to nice beaches. Large supermarket close by. Very quiet compound. Inside was cool despite blistering heat outside. Fantastic amenities. Everything we needed and more. Will come again and will recommend others ;)

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Maria Grazia's! The place is so beautiful and the view is stunning. It's very peaceful and you sleep very well there. Maria Grazia is very attentive and responsive. We were perfectly welcomed. The garden is nice for everyone, including our dog. We really liked the outdoor pizza oven! The location is both quiet and close to Lerici on foot. Lerici and the surrounding villages have nothing to envy from the Cinque Terre as they are beautiful and away from the crowds ;) We would totally recommend this listing.

We absolutely loved it! The views from the apartment are amazing - the terrace might be the most beautiful place to have dinner. The town is very cute and idyllic as well.

Very nice place to stay, probably the best place I've booked on Airbnb. The view is simply priceless during the day as well as at night. The house is warm and decorated with a lot of love and has all the necessary amenities. Chiara and her husband are extremely friendly and accommodating. All in all, I highly recommend it!! Please note that the driveway is relatively narrow for inexperienced drivers, but for someone who regularly drives a car, it is no problem.
