We had an absolutely amazing time staying here! The place is stunning—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and just steps from a quiet, safe beach. Channing is an exceptional host. From the moment I booked, he went above and beyond, providing tips for crossing the Costa Rica-Panama border and even arranging a shuttle transfer for us. He made sure we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable. We initially booked for two nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay to four nights. The well-behaved furry friends 🐶 added to the charm of the place—they’re adorable! All I can say is: WOW! This was an unforgettable experience, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We liked it so much that this was our second night. I repeat the previous review A spectacular experience from the end. The establishment exceeded our expectations - everything was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. The setting is beautiful and quiet, ideal for resting and enjoying as a family. Both adults and children really enjoyed the common areas, especially the terrace and the pool, which were our favorite corners. The attention and service were excellent, always attentive and friendly. Definitely a place we would love to go back to. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful location directly at the beach, perfect for some days of relax and beach walks. Very big house and the room was kept perfectly. Unfortunately, we did not have warm water and the WiFi was not working in the room, although it worked perfectly in the common living room and at the beach.

What to say… but most importantly, where to start? If I had to criticize, it would be that the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the place. What you see with the naked eye far exceeds what you can capture: the place is splendid, peaceful, quiet… just “Wow”! P.S. Check out their IG account: you'll be amazed. We were greeted by Simon, who gave us a warm welcome. He was very attentive throughout the stay, always with good advice, smiling, caring and in a very good mood. It felt like home from the first few minutes. The premises are perfectly maintained: quality bedding, air conditioning in each room, terrace or balcony, large spaces, everything is designed for comfort. The views are just amazing. The pool is clean, maintained daily by Simon, and the outside is breathtaking with the ocean as a backdrop. Thanks for a great experience. ❤️

We couldn’t expect a better hospitality!! Thx to Shanning and crew:) We got more than we needed. We spent 4 days and everything was at the rendez-vous. Even the monkeys went visit us 🐒 Super comfy room, beautiful and huge sharing spaces. Kitchen, terrace, pool, bar, hammock… with ocean view, right on the beach!! Ask to visit the Rama project of reforestation. They work hard to maintain the habitat of thousands of wild species. We can never thank them enough 🙏🏽🌿

The house is magnificent. Also is the location really nice and calm. You're really some steps from the sea.

Maryuri's place was great! It took a little bit to get to the place but it was secluded and very peaceful. We only stayed one night on our way through but if you are looking for a nice quiet place right on the beach, this is it. It's not really walkable to restaurants but there are a few grocery stores on the way in. So, grab some supplies and the kitchen has everything you would need. The room was very clean and we were able to get in with ease. Maryuri was very responsive while we had some questions upon arriving. She was very helpful with recommendations on places to eat out. Highly recommend for those looking for some beach seclusion.

It is a very family-friendly place and is equipped with everything you need to feel at home. It's a place with direct beach access and has a very comfortable pool.

I repeated for the second time this year. And Maryuri is a top host. I'll be back.

Beautiful Cozy Apartment! With nice beach decor and great vibes. Super well equipped right in front of the beach in a peaceful residencial. Super clean and comfortable. Yemile was an amazing host!

We had a wonderful stay at Mariposa Blanca. When the surf was too rough to play at the beach, we swam in the beautiful pool. All the beach accessories we could need at the house. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools we needed and more! The beds were comfortable and the location is so beautiful and peaceful. The covered patio allowed us to use the outside space whether it was sunny or raining. The road in isn't in tge best repair but the directions we received before arriving helped us get there easily. We hope to visit again!

A good home to live in if you're thinking about going to that area of Panama, as a positive point, Yipsy is a great host, with easy communication and care, as a negative point, the heat that is excessive in the months of January to March and the ants that there are quite a few. The pictures on this listing do not do the unit justice, it is spectacular and the ocean views are amazing. The house is fully kitted with everything you could need. We spent our days in the sea and reading. What a wonderful relaxing place. Perfect for a family holiday. We had a great time.

I highly recommend Edward’s condo! This was our second extended stay here, and my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Playa Barqueta. Edward is incredibly friendly and always quick to respond whenever we needed assistance. The exceptional hospitality we received from him truly made our stay unforgettable. For us, this place was perfect. It’s conveniently close to David City, yet still offers a peaceful and private atmosphere. The community is small, there are no beach vendors, and there’s a resort along with three local restaurants just a short distance away. The beachfront apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for a long and comfortable stay. The balcony offers stunning sunset views, where I was lucky enough to spot whales and dolphins a few times, as well as witness daily turtle releases. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent place to drain away your stress. Breathtaking views, pristine pool, safe apartment building and extremely friendly staff. No shopping malls, no clubs, just relaxing atmosphere. Three restaurants on the main beach open 11:30-18:30 and serve basic yet tasty food. Ocean is warm, safe to walk all hours of the day or night and the pool is wonderful. Loved the public spaces offered by the apartment complex. This is a place to unwind and relax. Bring all your groceries and drinking water, the shops are 20-30 min away. But I loved it. Buses run regularly to David, so you are not stranded. Las Olas resort walking distance with a nice restaurant as well. I loved everything. My dog loved it and there were trash cans everywhere for my poop bags. Loved the showers to clean up after a swim in the ocean or before getting into the pool. Having toilets next to the pool was appreciated.

Usually a review tells you, how nice everything was, but this time it is different. Due to the political situation in Panama, we weren‘t able to travel to our booked accommodation. Diana and all people involved tried to find a solution, to get us there. After several days, we had to accept, it‘s not possible. During all those days, the host where nice, helpful and pro active. But even more important, when we figured out, we don‘t get there, we got our money back, without any discussion. By far, this is not standard. So, Diana and all others around are not only nice, they are also reliable. I give 11 points, out of 10 and 100% recommendation and a big thank you.

Maria is an amazing host, and her house is too. It was a great experience! The house was fully equipped for all needs from the kitchen to the bathroom. Located in a super quiet and private place in Playa La Barqueta with beautiful views. Thank you very much Maria for always being attentive and giving us a divine experience!
