Nethy Bridge is beautifully surrounded by ancient pine forest and the perfect base to explore the Cairngorms. Curl up in front front of the wood-burner, relax and switch off. From easy local walks and a coffee in the village cafe, to hiking the hills and moors or mountain bike trails, it's all on the doorstep. Happy to help! We have Farm animals to meet, many Distillery’s, local attractions, restaurants, pubs & shops all a short drive away, perfect for quiet getaway & exploring the beautiful area with its countryside, beaches & mountains, suitable for a couple/friends sharing/couple with baby.

You will enjoy staying in this 3 bedroom cosy and quirky late 19th century railway sleeper cottage situated next to Deshar Woods in the popular village of Boat of Garten near Aviemore. We are next door so can help you if you need any assistance or local recommendations. You can sit out in the private cottage courtyard patio space in which the hot tub is located. You are also welcome to use the sauna and Granlea gardens which include a children's play area, lawn, table tennis table, bbq area etc.

The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.
