I booked this house for my sisters who were coming down for the holidays, and it was absolutely perfect! Spacious, homey, and beautifully decorated — exactly like the pictures, if not better. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The host was fantastic: responsive, quick to answer any questions, and made sure everything was just right for their stay. My sisters didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this place especially for a group!

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. The location couldn’t have been better—conveniently close to all the main attractions, yet set high enough to offer total peace and quiet after a day of exploring. The views of the sea and mountains were truly breathtaking, adding something special to both mornings and evenings. The photos online don’t fully capture the beauty of the view or the seamless flow of the living area out to the patio—it was even better in person. The home was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and tastefully decorated, and offered many comforts and conveniences. The host was very accommodating and made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Communication was easy, and they were always willing to support in making the stay as comfortable as possible. It was a peaceful, refreshing experience from start to finish, and I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time, the house is beautiful and in a great location. Chris was charming and incredibly helpful. Overall a perfect stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting CT.

Could not recommend Anton’s place more; one of our favourites we’ve ever stayed in. Fantastic location, amazing views, wonderful decor and amenities. To add to that Anton was an incredible host, check-in/out and communication was seamless.

We had a fantastic stay at Oliver's place. The house is very spacious, very well equipped and extremely pleasant inside and outside. The location is great, the view is awesome, it gives a feeling of remoteness though very well connected to everything. Perfect to work, to relax or to go hiking around. Oliver was always reachable and helpful. We loved the place and will definitely come back.

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

The apartment seems to be pretty new and well equipped. The beds are quite comfy. Everything looks like on the pictures, however to see this amazing view in person is just incredible. The apartment is not the cheapest one but if you would like to have a view over the city and the table mountain it is hard to find anything better in the city. The USP is definitely the terrace, we enjoyed it every morning and evening. We will come back again!

We had an amazing stay at Ilse and Dan’s place! They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the three of us, all experienced Airbnb travelers, unanimously agreed it was one of the best we’ve stayed at. The location is perfect, beautifully decorated, and we had no trouble with parking. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and they even let us leave our luggage for a few extra hours after checking out, which was super helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely love to return and recommend it to friends!

We love the Tamboerskloof neighborhood and this charming spot was in a great location. Pieter's home truly felt like a home away from home, and was so cute. The kitchen was open concept and great to cook in. Pieter was a super responsive host and we so appreciated his communication. Thanks for an amazing stay!

It was the second time for us in the location. It has even improved in some details. Everything was perfect.

Zebra house exceeded our expectations in every way. This lovely, old and characterful house is beautifully decorated with art pieces; the kitchen was cosy and the beds were wonderfully comfortable with high quality linens. The Bo Kaap neighbourhood is central for many activities and has some great cafes and restaurants. Helet greeted us on arrival and give us lots of information about the area and Cape Town generally. We had a fabulous stay and would love to return.

We had a fantastic experience at Nico's Airbnb! From the moment we booked until the end of our stay, the host was incredibly attentive and welcoming. They maintained excellent communication, regularly checking in to ensure our comfort and promptly addressing any issues that arose. The house truly felt like a cozy home away from home for my family and me. We appreciated the added sense of security provided by the video surveillance and overall safety measures. Each bedroom was well-kept, and the kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to whip up homemade meals. One of the highlights of the location was its proximity to popular tourist spots like the V&A Waterfront and a variety of local restaurants. We loved exploring the vibrant neighborhood, which offered a rich tapestry of cultures and plenty of buzzing energy from fellow tourists and locals alike. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our visit. Highly recommended!

Matthew's place was spectacular, Table Mountain views with morning coffee, couldn't ask for more! Matthew was very responsive, extremely helpful and a great person too, all in all an excellent host. Matthew greeted us on arrival and gave us a personal walk through, explaining all the amenities and functions. The property was clean and we felt like we were at a 'home from home'. The neigbourhood was safe, both day and night and has lots to offer. If you're looking for a house that oozes charm, this is the place. Thank you Matthew.

This place was absolutely amazing! The house is spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with a calm, stylish vibe. We loved the walkable neighborhood—safe and full of charm, with great coffee shops and a grocery store just minutes away. But what really made our stay exceptional was the hospitality. Sam and the whole team went above and beyond. They were incredibly responsive, brought us fresh towels when needed, and even delivered a mattress and bedding so our daughter could share a room with her siblings. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and we felt truly welcomed from start to finish. We had everything we needed and more. We’ll definitely stay here again!

I would highly recommend this property, Mark is so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful with amazing views, it’s well equipped, and is very private. The only regret is we didn’t stay there longer.

Such a stunning property, exactly as pictured. Ian was such a warm and welcoming host. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for a very comfortable stay. The wood burning stove kept the main area warm and cozy. Would highly recommend staying here, we hope to visit again.

The accommodation and my entire stay was just perfect! Beautiful house in the best location in all of Cape Town. A wonderful cleaning lady Winnie and above all two wonderful hosts who take care of everything and are always there when you need something. I had no problems with power outages and the internet was always available, which was important for me and my work. Thank you Paul and Christa for letting me be your guest!

This was exactly as we envisioned when we saw the pictures. Big, comfortable and very easy to live in as 4 guys come to Cape Town to play golf (perfect for a big family). 2 streets away from Bree Street and a wealth of bars and restaurants it was perfect for us. Super recommended. And what a space on the roof - BBQ, pool and views. Have no doubts - this place is great.

5 stars – A perfect Cape Town escape! Our stay on Byron Street was absolutely fantastic! The property was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is ideal—peaceful and secure, yet just minutes away from some of Cape Town’s best attractions, cafes, and beaches. We especially loved waking up to the mountain views and enjoying our morning coffee on the veranda. Our host Cath, was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a stylish, serene base in Cape Town, this is the place. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Michael's place. The view was fantastic and we loved the feeling of sitting on the deck and in the tree's canopy. The location is central, close to the waterfront with a few cafes and supermarkets just a short walk away. The house had everything that we needed. Michael is a great host- he proactively checked that we had everything that we needed and was quick to respond to any requests. I would highly recommend staying here! Thanks for everything!
