“Over the past four years, I’ve had to travel roughly every four months. Usually I stay at various hotels, but this was my first time choosing an AirBnb. Ched’s apartment was honestly better than all of the hotels that I’ve ever stayed at for comparable prices. I stayed for five nights and loved it. The apartment is very cute. Lots of privacy. Great for an individual or couple. It is very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Ched has really done a lot to make sure that the place is comfortable for guests as it is fully furnished for an extended stay. The hosts also added personal touches with a welcome note, contact info, and some basic complimentary snacks. I would definitely stay here again / recommend to a friend.”

“Another FABULOUS stay at "A Peaceful Retreat!" This is the 2nd stay I’ve had with Kathy and Kevin. For my first visit, my husband and I stayed in one of their guestrooms (A Peaceful Retreat 1-see review Jodi/January 2020), which was absolutely delightful! Because of that experience, I booked two nights with them again this week. Kathy asked if I would like to stay in their new space, the Guesthouse (I would be their first guest), so that I could provide her feedback on the experience, and I agreed as I had toured the place a few weeks back and was incredibly impressed with the accommodations. As with my first reservation, and again with this one, Kathy was very quick to respond to my inquiries via the Airbnb site. Additionally, I cannot overstate how kind and attentive she and Kevin were. As far as A Peaceful Retreat 2/the Guesthouse goes-what an extraordinary place!!! The living space is sparkling clean and very tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and calm colors. The living room is large and open with plenty of light and storage. The full, enormous kitchen is completely furnished with all you need to prepare meals. Kathy provided spices for cooking, tea, simple snacks, and cold drinks. She even had live daisies on the kitchen table; a sweet touch. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and pillows and the bathroom has the most enormous (are you seeing a pattern here?) walk in shower I’ve ever seen. The space is perfect for a night or an extended stay, as you have ALL, and I do mean ALL, the amenities of home! My husband will be returning to the area again in a few months and will definitely be staying here!!! Many, many thanks to Kathy and Kevin for their warm hospitality and for offering delightful accommodations-A Peaceful Retreat 1 (a guestroom in their home) and A Peaceful Retreat 2 (the guesthouse).”

“Kayla's place is just minutes from Fort Jackson. If you have a son, daughter or loved one graduating from the base, this is a perfect place to stay. It's an immaculate room, with its own private bathroom, in a gated community. And you can't beat the price. Seriously, you would end up paying probably three times more at a hotel. Comes with a gregarious, fluffy dog and a shy cat who greet you at the door, and then (don't worry) they leave you alone. Kayla is an excellent host who will make sure your stay is comfortable. Highly, highly recommend staying with Kayla.”
