Brian and Dianne went above and beyond to make their place the perfect stay. Extremely responsive, detailed, great amenities and location, and they even left us a little s’mores kit as a welcome gift. We definitely book again when we come back to the area. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

We had a great stay at Kurt’s couples cottage. The place is as described, perfect for a couple, with serene atmosphere, lovely location just off the Taccoa river. We were not into fishing, so may not have enjoyed the stay to its fullest potential but we still loved the place regardless. We were given a tour of place upon arrival as the host happened to be around. There is a fireplace, a fire-pit, lots of firewood with starter, etc., in addition to seating, hammock, and so on. Lots of good stuff. Truly enjoyed the stay.

Blue Turtle Villa was perfect for our group of 7 plus our dog. The layout was perfect with plenty of bathrooms (with big fluffy robes in all of them!) and an open floor plan. The upstairs loft area was great for our kids to play video games during downtime. We cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen and were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather and dine outside on the lovely patio. The backyard was my favorite part of the house with a firepit, clean hot tub, and great views of the amazing surroundings. The house is about as close to being in a national forest as possible. Allie thought of everything when stocking this house - they not only had several kayaks/paddleboards available but they all were fully functional and they had all the accessories you could want/need (life jackets of all sizes, wet bags, even a handy rolling cart to help haul it all down to the lake!). Beautiful area with tons to do if you love nature and hiking like us! Highly recommend.

Kristy was very nice and responsive. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The living room/patio scenery were stunning. We couldn’t get enough of the jacuzzi (tv outside was a plus). Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Morganton/Blue ridge area, whether you want a quiet getaway or a close spot to the lake/beach.

This house has everything you need for a getaway. We stayed on the decks more than in the house. The furniture outside has been upgraded since the photos on the listing. Kitchen was spotless and had everything I need to cook for my family. I will be back. There are 125 steps to get to the water. I knew it would be a trek, so it didn’t bother me. But, just a heads up if you aren’t able to climb that many steps. All of the houses are like that.

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

Amazing cabin. Absolutely the cleanest Airbnb we ever stayed in. Everything from the fire pit, to the outdoor space and down to the nice towels were so thoughtful and nice. Also easy to get in - not steep driveway. Tons of deer around to see also. Great property.

I can't say enough about Lisa's home! It had everything listed and more. The thoughtfulness in the little details made this the best experience we have had with an Airbnb. This home is beautiful and the amenities at the lake were perfect. Our family had a wonderful week and hope to do it again in the future.

This space gave our family an amazing vacation. The space was perfect for us and included a lot more than the listing even stated. The kitchen was well stocked, the outdoor spaces are gorgeous , the large tables let us all eat together and the large rooms let us all have our own space. We found the house to be the most dog welcoming home we have rented and we look forward to staying again.

We loved Russell's house! Every year we try to find the perfect MDW house on a river and this was hands down the best one yet. The views and sound of the river was amazing. The amenities were great and just as listed. The house was perfect to entertain adults as well as children, there was always something for everyone to do. I loved the special touch of all the curtains and the ability to feel like you were right on the water with all of the glass but also be able to make the rooms dark and private so you could enjoy your rest. The beds were also very comfy. The kitchen had absolutely everything which was super nice and very convenient. We loved how big and cozy the main room was too. Also, anytime I had a question, Russell would respond within minutes which was awesome. I would highly recommend Russell's house and can't wait to go back!!

This place is exceptional in every way! The luxurious accommodations and impeccable styling exceeded our expectations. We loved everything— the hot tub, the grill, the porch spacious porch swing large enough to nap on, the beautiful deck views— it was all fantastic and made for a fun and idyllic experience. We appreciated the owners’ hospitality and responsiveness as well as their local recommendations. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the place and we would definitely come back.

My family had a wonderful time at this lovely lake house. The location on the lake is perfect since the outlet is one-way in/out so no through boat traffic. That gave use plenty of peace while kayaking and swimming. It's also conveniently located down the road from the Nottely boat club and marina so took advantage of that for a day of boating and tubing. Since it's on the north side of the lake, the mountain views while on the boat were absolutely stunning. Also conveniently located to PaPaw's BBQ which was fantastic. The double-cabin set up worked out fine for my family of four and we really enjoyed being able to spread out between the two. My son caught a catfish off the dock and we all loved enjoying the many animals who surrounded the area (geese, ducks, deer, blue heron, etc.). We had all the amenities we needed and appreciated the thoughtful perks. We'll definitely consider renting here again the next time we plan on a Nottely Lake vacation. Thanks, Nicole!

We loved our stay at killer view cabin! I celebrated my birthday here with a few close friends and we all did not want to leave. The views were breathtaking and the cabin was so comfortable and had everything we needed! We hope to come back as it was truly a special stay. Jennifer was such a responsive and kind host too! 10/10 recommend!

Excellent stay! The house was beautiful and very clean. I would highly recommend if you are going to Ellijay, to stay at this home. The lake was quiet and great for kayaking and fishing. The house was very homey and fully stocked kitchen. The view of the lake was great and had a great bonfire our last night there. I would definitely stay here again. 15 minutes to shops and restaurants. Thank you for opening your vacation home to us. We look forward to staying there again!

I absolutely loved our stay at Tiffany’s place. It is exactly as described. She went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The added touches were very appreciated. There was nothing that was needed or wanted for. The place is pristine!!!

This was our second stay and arriving felt like we were coming home! This peaceful and relaxing cabin has officially become our favorite airbnb. The beautiful adjacent creek offers relaxing background noise for fishing, recharging in the hot tub, or bird watching from the screened in porch. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone.

After a one week stay it was hard to leave, we just wanted to call it home. The house was amazing and each bedroom felt tucked away and private. The four porches were absolutely amazing. Each level has something for everyone and provides multiple options for relaxing and enjoying company. From outdoor beds, to basket swings, rocking chairs, dining table and fabric chair swings. Our children were immensely entertained with the options! The private location gives you great views and serenity. The locals are nice (remember the neighbor was friendly) and we can’t wait to book our next vacation at the same place!

My family enjoyed this comfy and cozy home with the most beautiful views. We enjoyed the dock and water toys made available to us. The house is thoughtfully stocked and decorated. The host was fantastic with communicating instructions. We will be coming back!
