This was a fantastic place to stay, just off the M1, yet in the former village of Broughton, so very attractive surroundings and open space to walk my dog. It's also very convenient for visiting the centre of Milton Keynes, I was going to the theatre, which is ten minute drive, I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely quirky cottage with spacious lounge, dining room and kitchen. Very well equipped and we found the beds extremely comfortable. Had a very relaxed one night stay. Great that the check out time was 12pm, much appreciated. Many thanks.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Really pleasent stay does exist!!. We surprised about the house, that’s fantastic for having a trip with friends.The common room has a lot of things to do such as karaoke, table foose ball, pacman and also kitchen that has everything including dishwasher machine. There are 6 bedrooms which is really flexible and comfortable for us to rest. Thanks a lot!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Steve's charming barn, and it was nothing short of a perfect experience. From the moment I inquired about the booking, Steve was incredibly quick to respond, ensuring everything was set for our visit. The barn itself is a gem, nestled in beautifully peaceful surroundings, which provided a serene escape from the bustle of everyday life. It was an ideal location for my visit to Oxford, offering both convenience and tranquility. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Juliet is an incredible host; super friendly and extremely attentive. The property is amazing and to have had the use of the pool and the tennis court, made it the most fantastic value. One of my favourite parts of our two night stay, was that we could leave the property and walk for 20-25 minutes, across fields, to one of two brilliant pubs for supper and then stroll back at dusk - truly idilic! All in all, for me and my two teenage sons, it literally could not have been a more perfect little break from the city. Thank you Juliet and we look forward to visiting The Squadron HQ again very soon X

We had a lovely break here whilst visiting family nearby, Stuart was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was provided, absolutely gorgeous area and all round welcoming atmosphere. Stuart even kindly installed WiFi for us- as signal is hit and miss in the area. Very clean Caravan as well and well equipped. Really lovely stay. Extremely pristine and private airbnb, perfect for dogs and so peaceful! If your only knowledge of the English countryside is from romantic movies, then this is pretty much 100% as dreamy as you would hope. Angela was always available and responded in an extremely timely manner. We have stayed in many places that claim the pool is heated only to be disappointed. This pool was so warm we could swim in 18c weather on a cloudy day. We loved everything about our stay and the kitchen is very generously stocked with knives, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, etc. We could not recommend this airbnb and the hosts enough! The neighbours are also so kind and warm and even suggested walking routes for us and the dog. Don’t hesitate and book in now!

We had the best time, the pool is amazing!! The time slots were ideal and work really well- great pool for adults and children. Beautiful cottage, lovely gardens-we felt so at home, nothing was too much trouble for Bridget. The children have now also found a new love for tennis! We def hope to return … 10 out of 10 from us!!

Had a lovely stay in Lauren’s caravan. Had everything we needed, even cling film (it’s the small things). Spacious and airy. Great location, onsite shop, restaurant and lake. Very peaceful few days away. Pool was being cleaned whilst we were there getting ready to open, would have loved to been able to use it. Friendly residents too. Will be back!

The house itself is a major attraction. It has everything you need to feel at home. The beautiful garden provides a perfect setting for a pleasant, non-rainy day. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk, and the Tube is a 10-minute walk. There are plenty of options nearby if you don’t want to go far. I highly recommend it if you are staying in Camden.

We loved our 2 night stay at Black Squirrel Barn. The location is beautiful and peaceful with 2 lovely country pubs within walking distance. It was the perfect base for our family of five to attend a wedding in Hitchin. The barn is very homely and comfortable and was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the vegan options kindly provided for breakfast. We made use of the private patio and pagoda and also enjoyed the stunning shared gardens filled with wildlife (the black squirrel was a special treat) and the tennis court. Niki was a warm and welcoming host and very responsive to messages. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

We were thrilled to be welcomed into Caroline's gorgeous cottage. It had everything we could need plus more and exceeded our expectations compared to the photos. Caroline couldnt be more helpful and was a delight to meet. Thoughtful touches throughout the house made it such a special stay - including a fresh-baked loaf of bread, butter, home made marmalade and a delicious jam and cream sponge cake. Plus we had the joy of seeing the wysteria starting to bloom. Charming in every way. We would definitely stay again given the chance.

Our first Air BnB and what a great little place. We live reasonably local so have travelled through Turvey numerous times and we only stayed one night as had to vacate our house for a kids party. The place was immaculate with lots of small touches, gadgets and everything you need (better equipped than a lot of other places we have stayed). We had a minor query which Philip was quick to respond even though he was away. Never tried the fireplace as the weather was so good but managed a beautiful walk out around the village and the surrounding countryside. Highly recommend.

Had the most amazing weekend at the Shephard’s Hut. Helen and James were so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay and the hut was just perfect. An amazing location, easy to get to and so peaceful. Cannot recommend it enough!!
