The old walls and the beautiful wooden components have been lovingly restored. In order to preserve the historical character, we used natural building materials. The vaulted ceilings and the romantic wooden stairs are special. The low doors as well as the uneven walls and floors give the apartment its special charm.

About almost 8 years ago we found a wonderfull place in the hills around Maribor. Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a bigger tent for families. Rudi is a great host and we had a lovely few days staying here. The house is perfect and has a great little pool and table tennis table. I could have stayed here for a month. Great access to Petzen for walking and mountain biking. Quiet village with a small bar next door and a shop just up the road.. Rudi was always on hand to help out and we loved our fresh tomatoes. Would highly recommend a stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Martina and Danilo are wonderful hosts. The setting could not be more tranquil and beautiful. The apartment was as clean as one could imagine and very roomy. I would say that it was better than the pictures. They put love into what they do, especially the food. Just about everything is sourced from their farm and made fresh. Martina bakes a variety of breads daily, makes fresh yogurt (with dairy from their cows), meats smoked on the property, etc. I could go on and on about the literal farm to table food. We absolutely loved everything about our stay and recommend it to anyone staying in the region.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and charming house in the mountains. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful holiday. Hiking trails start right from the house, the restaurants in the surrounding villages are great and soaking in the hot tub while stargazing was a lovely experience. Barbara and her family are such kind and forthcoming hosts. Everything is super clean and exactly as in the description and fotos. We warmly recommend a stay here and would be happy to come back! The apartment was perfect for us (3 adults), the pool is great and Christian is a very friendly host who takes care of everything and with whom you quickly got into conversation. The area is quiet if the usual church bells don't bother you (-;. A good restaurant and a small shop where there is almost everything is very close. There was also a charging point for our electric car. The surroundings offer many excursion destinations. Tip for cyclists: the Drau bike path passes by the village.
