This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double and one queen sized bedroom, sofa bed and a delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

The Granary

Situated in the country side, with no one around, the gorgeous Hardwick View Lodge. A lovely intimate space with the sounds of nature all around. You can go on many different walks, to close by places such as Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill. This is a perfect place for walkers or a couple wanting a romantic treat away, with a hot tub to relax in too. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.
