It's location provides a relaxing getaway while being centrally based for exploring the Lake District, the Solway Coast, the border city of Carlisle, Hadrians wall and the Scottish border. A bus service runs through the village daily which will link you to Carlisle and West Cumbria including the Lakes. You'll find a shop 2.3 miles and a pub just 50 yards.

This a large flat ideal for a get together with family and friends. We are situated in the village of Abbeytown. The flat has 2 bedrooms one with a very comfortable kingsize bed and the other with twin beds (can be made into double on request) Also the living room has a sofa bed which I make up for guest arrival leaving enough seating available on the corner sofa.
