Beautiful and clean mountain home! Located far enough to be secluded, but still a reasonable drive into town. The hot tub and fireplace were a definite plus! Tami gave great directions to get to the home and very helpful tips on what to do/bring before getting into the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and only wish we could have been there longer!

The space was perfect for a family trip to the woods. Peaceful and comfortable. The pictures are great, but don’t do justice to all the magical little details of the house. The hot tub was relaxing and clean, we spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck. The hosts were kind and communicative.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at 48 Overlook Drive!! The house had all the accomodations needed for a comfortable vacation. The home felt cozy and the views were spectacular! The drive was relaxing getting to the mountain top! Austin, made sure we had everything we needed. We recommend this space for anyone looking for mountain views, not far from many scenic cities.

What an incredible place. Totally secluded and a magical peaceful retreat in the woods. The hot tub and sauna were perfect and the sounds of the creek as you lay in the hammock reading. The bed was comfortable and nice touches with the espresso maker, French press and freshly baked cookies.

Beautiful and cozy cabin. My family and I enjoyed the view and the privacy. Host was very kind and always quick to respond if we had any questions. Definitely recommend this spot.

This place is a gem— the views are just wildly good from every room. The windows allow you to watch the sun and moon move across the sky, and the trails are spectacular. It’s worth knowing before you book: the homeowners are fastidious and require some hoops to jump through, including asking for financial information off-platform in an unsecured document, and signing a legal form that allows them to charge you at-will for anything they see fit to. We had no assessed fees ourselves, but the threat of them was very prevalent. Do take them at their words they wrote in their own listing— they are, in fact, “OCD” about their Airbnb cabin.

The Bird House was a beautiful property- serene and restorative. The views were stunning, and the home itself was cozy and inviting. It rained/misted/hailed for nearly our entire stay, so we weren't able to explore the area as much as we had hoped, but the fireplace and hot cocoa were perfect. We played several of the games provided, and even watched a movie while the weather was at its worst; however the covered porch with firepit and Hottub were still inviting. Parking was tricky in our F150, but we managed. One more thing, if you're not used to the altitude, be sure to pack something to help with that. My daughter struggled on the first day/night, and we had to drive into town for some medicine. Overall, a wonderful accommodation. I would recommend it to anyone! Be sure to check out Maxwell falls, if you can.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy spot in Winter Park! The location was ideal just minutes from the downtown area, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The space was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. After long days of exploring and chilling in the hot tub the lovely view of the mountains off the back deck made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Listening to the water flow while in the hot tub is an experience like no other! But the indoor fire stove was my favorite feature of the house. It’s not mentioned but the surrounding area is very dark and depending on the moon cycle you can faintly see the Milky Way with the naked eye! Highly recommend if the skies are clear out and it’s close to a new moon. We had a wonderful stay and I plan on trying to stay here again the next time I’m in the area. What a welcoming and enjoyable cabin, with lots of space and everything you could want supplied! We loved the peaceful setting and found the beds very comfortable. Conveniently located near our family members, and a good location for visiting all the destinations we wanted to get to. Our highest recommendation!

it was a nice get away. the owners had great instructions on getting there and how things in the house functions. they had everything I would need, except for food of course. but a store is close by if needed. the furniture was comfortable and pet friendly. If the weather was better, I would have laid in the hammock all day and night. hot tub is big enough for a party and I used the grill for every meal. if there was a large party, just be warned there is only 1 bathroom. that was no issue for me since it was just me and my doggie. the view was very decent for the area and there was much privacy. I got to see the stars during the night a d some of the mountains during the day. I would book again and I would recommend.

I cannot believe that this place exists! Perfect location. Beautiful surroundings. Close to the park. Host was very responsive. I'd not only stay here again, I'll probably tell my coworkers and friends about it!!

I had an excellent stay at this location. Cozy cabin on the mountain with some standout amenities. Hard to come up with anything bad or negative to say about the experience. Location is as-described in the listing. Getting to the location was not an issue. Private and surrounded by everything you would expect for a mountain local. Clean air, lots of trees, great views and the sound of nearby creek was a nice bonus. The dog had a good time with it. Projector was simple enough to use, very bright and kinda fun watching the screen lower and raise into place. Really enjoyed the upstairs bedroom and the motorized roof window that opens up. Great to watch the stars and listen to nature at night. The sound of the creek was awesome once you opened up the window. Had a restful and deep sleep for the stay. The bathtub was probably the only downside. I am too tall to fit into it comfortably at 6 feet. Would highly recommend this location for anyone looking to get away and recharge.

Loved our stay at the chalet. It rained most of our visit, but we were warm and cozy inside with the wood stove. The rain made it feel misty and magical. The house was fully stocked with cooking supplies, firewood, toiletries, etc. There is a coffee maker, French Press, and coffee filters. On our last morning, we woke up to the sun streaming through the windows and a gorgeous VIEW of the snow-covered Indian Peaks. I was worried about using the ladder to the loft, but I got the hang of it quickly. I also enjoyed reading the guest book and learning how meaningful the house has been to so many people. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this private sanctuary! It was extremely easy to find and to get to (~5 miles of dirt road up to the cabin, as described, but easy terrain) and had no issues with checking in. The cabin was very cute and homey, with lots of games and music and tv for when I had to stay inside due to the rain. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax after a good hike with my dog. We even were visited by some very cute cows and their calves! Only thing that could use improvement was the cleanliness; there was hair around the tub in the bath and the couch could use a good vacuum (especially under the fur hides). Had a great time overall and was a great place to escape and relax!

We loved staying for the weekend. The cabin was clean and quaint with beautiful views. Lots of outdoor activities to engage in. It was peaceful and quiet with beautiful stars to see.

Cute cabin in a wooded neighborhood. Had most essentials though didn't have a microwave available and the hot water in the bathroom sink was difficult to navigate but is being fixed. Loved the wood stoves, beds and couch. Shower was comfortable and it looks like there may be an additional bathroom coming. There are multiple neighbors close by though they keep to themselves. Dogs occasionally went crazy for likely some wooded critters but nothing that became frustrating. Host was responsive to questions and offered one of the easiest check outs of my life! Appreciated the stay and distance to Golden Gate Canyon State Park and even made it to RMNP easily.

Perfect place to get away and relax! Loved the small towns nearby, there were a few gems in Nederland that we really enjoyed. Would definitely stay again!

we loved our stay! Amber's place is thoughtfully decorated and very cozy. She makes great use of the space. The surroundings are beautiful, it's super quiet, and not far from outdoor activities.

We had such a great stay - we didn’t want to leave! We stayed for a few nights and enjoyed the gorgeous weather, scenery & a hike up to St. Mary’s - we even saw multiple moose!! The house is super clean, sunny & inviting. We appreciated all the extra linens, housewares, supplies, etc - we felt right at home! All instructions are clear & check in/out was a breeze! De is an amazing host & ensures you are taken care of through quick communication, including a binder full of recommendations, instructions & clear directions in the kitchen! We absolutely loved the area & the drive up to the cabin - would definitely recommend this stay to anyone, it is a wonderfully tranquil stay!!

Lovely stay outside of Nederland. Quiet and peaceful, amazing sauna. We wish it weren’t cloudy because the stars would have been amazing! Taught our 4 year old what a blue ray was to watch movies, and fair selection to choose from!

Beautiful, clean cabin. One of the best Airbnb stays I have had. Hosts had travel essentials stocked and were very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again whenever we are back in town!

This was a cozy place to stay. We particularly loved the procjector, skylights, and hot tub. Its a perfect combination of remoteness, yet its only a few miles from Empire. Great view too. Hope to be back.
