My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in Holmenkollen at Anne's house. Getting from the airport to Anne's house with two 23 kg suitcases was easier than expected: the (underground) train station is about 5' away. The city can be reached quickly and easily: a train runs every 15 minutes and with a 7-day ticket for zone 1 you can travel very flexibly and the price is really cheap: around 30 euros. The environment is green and very quiet and you can go jogging or hiking directly on good paths in large forests. Anne is a very friendly hostess and easily accessible at all times. The beautiful Norwegian house with more than 100 years of history was renovated and has very bright window fronts and high rooms facing south, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of Oslo and the fjord. And it is constantly and pleasantly heated via the well-kept floor, even on colder days in summer. To make it short: this house is a real pearl. Take care of this beautiful home when you rent it!

Mario was very accommodating as we had a last minute booking. He kept in touch often to ensure we had everything we needed. The house is up on the hill with a beautiful view. The layout is spacious with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The wraparound deck is perfect for relaxing outside and/or having meals; as well as a tennis table and plenty of board games to enjoy. The train station is a 10min walk from the house just over the mountain and it's a 4min train ride to the center of Asker. The bus stop is a five minute walk from the house to the main road. It feels private and relatively quiet. Just what we needed on this trip. Thank you, Mario.

We had a very good week in this perfectly located full house. It was like home quickly and we felt like being in a winter wonderland. Winter activity and city vacation at the same time. In one day you can go for skiing or take the sledge down Korketrekkeren and in the afternoon visit Munch museum and have dinner in a Tjuvholmen restaurant. Thanks Sarah for providing this opportunity.

Staying at Harald's place was a great experience. He is a thoughtful and attentive host, always going the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. His quick and clear communication made check-in a breeze. The apartment is welcoming, with access to the kitchen and the flexibility to use the room when he's not around. It was around 30 minutes to the Oslo International Airport. If we ever return to this part of Oslo, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Nora’s house. The location is stunning, the walks are beautiful and the house is very accessible via foot. Before booking Nora shared the bus app information and general directions to the house, which was very helpful information and made the commute considerably smoother. Communication was excellent, right from before booking until the day we left. Nora gave us so many recommendations and responded immediately when we contacted her. Genuinely a really lovely experience, 10/10 home and host! We would love to come and stay again in the future!

Great cozy house in Oslo with a great location to a small ski resort and lots of nature. Easily reachable by public transportation. Very nice communication.

Excellent and peaceful place to stay for a few days in the middle of the forest. Mira is an outstanding host. Sita, her cat, is lovely and friendly. I recommend it.

Jan Fredrik was very nice and proactive in communication. He gave a lot of good information before our arrival. We didn't have to contact him during our stay, due to these good instructions. We were greeted upon arrival and got a walk-through of the house. We had a very nice stay at the house and especially appreciated that the area is quiet and private, but at the same time within walking distance to shops and public transport at Ullevål Stadium.

Kristin is an amazing host! Her apartment is conveniently located to Oslo. We enjoyed the easy walk/bus/train to the city. The apartment is very well equipped and Kristin is super responsive. She provided us with great suggestions on how to spend our short stay in Oslo and also helped us navigate an issue we were having with our car rental. (Thanks for that, Kirstin!)

It was a wonderful 4 days in a cozy and comfortable house with all amenities. I haven't experienced a more friendly and helpful host before. The house is located in the suburbs of Oslo, next to a bus stop and a shop. All photos and description of the house fully correspond to reality. We felt at home and grateful for Anniken's generous hospitality. She was very prompt in answering any questions we had. We will remember this vacation for a long time and hope to come back again, but already in the summer ;)

Marianne is an excellent host. We stayed for 3 months and any queries we’ve had have been addressed swiftly. The property is in excellent condition and catered for two adults and a toddler. We particularly appreciated that the area is quiet and full of nature. Highly recommend.

Oddbjørn’s house is incredible. With a beautiful location right on the water and tons of space in the house it feels like a vacation the moment you step inside or out onto the deck. There are so many amenities, the kitchen is huge, the sauna is a fantastic addition. This space is perfect for large groups or a family looking to get away for the weekend. With kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat you can explore a serene lake and really enjoy the surroundings. Enjoy a great week in Norway at this spectacular house!!

The place was great. Me and my friend both highly enjoyed the place and equally the commute to get to it.

My boyfriend and I have been to Norway for the first time and very happy with this accommodation. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful surroundings. Anikken was easily accessible and was quick to respond. Especially very helpful and thoughtful, we got a lot of tips from her. We have felt very much at home here partly because of the hospitality. The cottage was also clean, cozy and equipped with everything you needed :)

Our stay at kajas property was amazing. The cabin is beautiful and has an amazing view with access to the lake. Kaja was a very accommodating, helpful and friendly, giving us water and extra bedding. Highly recommend this airbnb!

We had a very pleasant christmas holiday at Jarle's in 2024. He provided us with a tree and decorations and all other items we requested. There were cross country skiis for most of us. We were 7 adults, and four children under 10. We had more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well supplied. Some of us liked the sauna, but I especially liked the fire pan outside. All in all a great place for a family gathering.

I don’t know where to begin. Definitely one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The location right on the lake was perfect. My ten year old was up early every day and out paddle boarding - something he’d never tried before this trip. The setting was stunning, like out of a film. We even had a pair of swans attach themselves to us for our trip. The cabin had all we needed and was very comfortable. It felt full of love and care. I can’t believe how we got so lucky choosing this place and some firm childhood memories were definitely formed. It’s impossible to express how great it is here. Don’t hesitate. Book it!

Great stay in Marka, but what belongs to it. Water pick up, burning in a fireplace and dishes by hand. Johan is a nice host who responds quickly.
