Possibilities for renting bicycles. The residence is close to the ski slope and nice hiking excursions. It only takes 30 minutes to Oslo by bus and train or 10 minutes to Sandvika city center.

About 1 minute away, you will find Stovner Center, which offers several restaurants, grocery stores, clothing stores, and other shops, a library, and a large fitness center. About 3 minutes from the apartment, you will find Stovnertårnet, which offers views of the city of Oslo. Behind Stovnertårnet, you will find Liastua, in a peaceful outdoor area where you can jog and run, bike, hike, or ski when there is snow.

The small cabin is well maintained and well equipped with electricity. There is an outhouse, and water is collected in the stream/melt water, drinking water can be brought. See pictures of terrain and access on foot. Perfect for a quiet weekend in the winter darkness or long bright summer evenings.

Located within the ski resort, you may ski-in and ski-out in the winter. Parking included. Wifi included. 4 lift passes included. The house was built in 1930 and was upgraded in 2014-2017 to accommodate 16 guests. There is plenty of room for everyone! Attention: The ski resort is not able to help with transportation.

Walking distance from Movatn train station, with Oslo central station 22 minutes away. The cabin has been used as both office, writers studio and guest house.
