Your host family Antoinette, Markus and Giovanni The apartment is located in a detached house in the hamlet of “Ebnet” in the municipality of Bitsch at about 900 m/above sea level. Bitsch is a small, cozy village in Upper Valais. It is located on the southern slope 5 km east of Naters/Brig, at the foot of the Aletsch area (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site). To the south, the Simplon Pass leads directly to Domodossola/Italy. Located on the first floor, you can use the large garden seating area with beautiful views of the Valais mountains alone in addition to the apartment (1 large living room with double and single bed, sofa, reading chair, WELAN TV, 1 well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower). Garden furniture and deck chairs invite you to linger outdoors, soak up the sun and relax. By public transport, arrival to us is possible without a car. On foot you can reach the local shop, the post office and bank in about 15 minutes, by bus in 5 minutes. The possibilities to enjoy your time are limitless: Versatile sports activities (hiking, climbing, cycling, skiing, swimming, etc.) Cultural activities (museums, theaters, cultural events depending on the season) and a lot of nature (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Aletsch, Binntal Nature Park, etc.) are right at your doorstep. As a family who likes to travel a lot ourselves, we look forward to exchanging ideas with our guests. We speak German, English, French and Italian. On request, we will spoil you with a hearty breakfast with regional, natural products. If necessary, we will arrange a mountain or hiking guide for you and try to meet your "extra requests" if possible. The main thing is that you feel comfortable and relax!

Only 8-10 minutes by car from Brig-Naters, via Blattenstrasse, you reach the Wiler "Geimen". The 2 room flat has been lovingly renovated in a nostalgic and modern style. Within 5 minutes you are at the ski valley resort of Belalp, which can be reached by car or bus. The house is heated with wood with the soapstone stove from 1882. In the bedroom there is another wood-burning stove with a view of the burning flames.

I wish I could give Fabienne’s place a 6/5. This cabin was clean, cute, and comfy- but the best part about our stay was Fabienne! She is so kind, thoughtful, and generous. She gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do, was so helpful, and I wish we had more time to stay and get to know her better! Also, there is a train station in Bitsch that is a 10 minute walk down from the cabin, and a 20 minute walk up. So easy access to public transport if you don’t mind the walk! You can also take the bus up and down the valley. Loved our stay here!

Centrally located, easy access to the train station! Welcoming feeling from time of arrival until time of departure. Markus and Caroline were very responsive and made you feel at home. We are very grateful to have spent such a beautiful week in this special place. We can absolutely confirm the many positive reviews. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love, everything you need is there. You can immediately tell that someone has really thought about it. The view from the kitchen to Weisshorn and Matterhorn is impressive, and looking from the balcony to the Rhônetal, Brig and the Simplon inspired us. The hikes along the Suonen through meadows blooming in all colors, a nature and a tranquility that touch one were unforgettable. What has also remained with us is the cordiality of the hosts: you feel humanly welcome. The neighbors on the farms in the area are also friendly and open, you are happy to talk and feel comfortable. Not to forget, the animals... The black and white goats and the unique, famous Valais Black Nose sheep!!

We are so happy to stay at Elsbeth’s apartment as everything is well equipped. We can occupy the entire apartment with private kitchen and bathroom. It is clean、spacious and comfortable. We stay 4 nights and feel so relaxed and enjoyable. We will miss Brig and Elsbeth’s apartment forever. If we go back to Brig, we will stay here again.
