Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Adjacent to Hjälstaviken Nature Reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolfts vicarage. Part of the house is probably from the 18th century. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "back" with a terrace down afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. The grocery store is within 10 km.

Cozy little cottage in the countryside. There are horse pastures and the forest around the knot and with a 10-minute walk you are out on Biskops-Arnö. There are docks, swimming area, exercise loops, a 600 year old oak and much more! Bålsta can be reached by car in 15 minutes and Stockholm at 50. It is recommended to come by car. The cabin has a kitchen and sleeping loft. On the loft there is a 120 cm bed and a 90 cm mattress. The toilet and shower are in the same building, the shower is shared with us who live in the square (if we are home).

Small cozy guest house on a lush plot. 400 m from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim by a jetty or small beach in the summer and skate in the winter. Close to beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cabin has one room and bathroom. It has a small, but full kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a fold-up guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom there is washing machine, shower and WC. Sheets and towels are included.

We had an awesome time in Sigtuna! We used the Captain’s Cabin as a base to visit Stockholm, Skansen, Uppsala, Marienfred and Skokloster. We used the available bikes which was great. We also used the garden, perfect for breakfast on a sunny day. The bed is a comfortable one, which is important of course. We had a great time! This Airbnb is highly recommended! The hosts are very friendly.

Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!
