Vacation rentals with lake access in Birkenhead

Amazing location to switch off and relax. The place is pretty basic which is fine but it needs a bit of TLC. Would be great to have the wood at the house and not having to ask for it all the time. Worth visiting for sure for the location and views/walk around the private estate.

We stayed for a weekend with family, it’s a great place for a large party. The property is modern and has a great kitchen and dining area for everyone to sit at. The house is clean and modern and the hot tub is lovely to relax in after a day of hiking. There is plenty of parking and the property is located a short walk from shops and restaurants which is a great feature.

We loved the farmhouse, it was very spacious, the facilities were excellent, the hot tub was fab! Lovely garden with plenty of shade (were lucky with a hot weather weekend!) . Very good location for visiting Chester / Blue Planet Aquarium etc. We had local family joining us for a buffet lunch one day and there was plenty of crockery/ cutlery/ serving dishes etc. Ben was swift to respond to/sort out a couple of minor issues, and was very helpful. We would definitely like to come and stay again! Thank you!

We came for a short stay to just get away from our busy lives. We loved ever second, it was beyond peaceful and the surrounding walks for the dogs was perfect for what we needed! Would 1000% recommend

Wow what a stunning holiday cottage for our first Airbnb experience. Cosy, comfortable plenty of space and spottlesly clean throughout. We had a fantastic week, weather was glorious ☀️. Loved it here didn't want to come home, we will definitely be back sometime. The amazing welcome basket and flowers were fabulous thank you so much. A beautiful house on a very quiet street but really close to local amenities and attractions. The house was furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was lovely on a sunny day. We enjoyed exploring the local area and would definitely visit again.

we stayed in Jo's place to visit Manchester with my family. the place was located in Salford quays and within walking distance to the tram station. It was also clean and tidy, and was big enough for the family.

Lovely flat in a great location overlooking the race ground. Easy to walk into town and access the walls - we had a great weekend!

We were a group of 4 and the apartment was perfect, had everything we needed and is in a perfect location. Well equipped kitchen for a night in and plenty of room to spread out. Some road/outside noise in the bedrooms at night but it is a city and is to be expected I guess. Handy for the racecourse and you’re into Chester centre in 5/10 mins.

Absolutely loved my stay. The apartment was easy to find and match the description of the post to a T. Perfect location for travelling the city and close to plenty of attractions and restaurants. I had a lovely time and Carly always had me in mind to make sure my stay was pleasant which it was.

Couldn’t fault Mary at all, really friendly helpful, and kind. Recommended great things to do in the area, would definitely recommend her place of residence if you’re visiting for a day or two

The place is beautiful, and the host is very responsive. It’s located right next to Albert Dock. The flat itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. It was a great base for our stay in Liverpool. Recommended.

We liked the very central location and accessibility to local services. The rear terrace was nice, we had our breakfast outside on the terrace on Saturday morning in the sunshine. Decor of the rooms looked good too. Beds were comfortable.

A really spacious apartment right opposite M&S Arena. Prefect location. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Also great and very fast communication

Beautiful cottage next to Lake Bala and lovely hosts. Nice village 10 mins walk away and a reasonable drive to bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Only disappointment—adjacent to quite a busy road.

Lou's place is a gorgeous cottage with lovely surroundings. It was a perfect place to celebrate my dad's 60th for the weekend. Llyn Tegid and Lllangollen attractions are within 25 minutes drive and there are lovely countryside walks from the house. The house was well presented and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils.

What a fantastic gem. The house was lovely, light and spacious with the most amazing views. Just some of the facilities we made use of were the hot tub (very clean), fire pit, bbq and also the herb garden came in useful too. Beti was a great host and very welcoming, ensuring all ages were catered for. We would 100% recommend and would definitely want to come back.

Really Enjoyed our stay in Ellesmere at this lovely property. A beautiful part of the world to visit and relax. The property was perfectly sized for the 2 of us and was exactly what we needed.

My family and I (2 daughters, 13 and 9) spent the long May day bank holiday weekend at The Hovel. It was fabulous! The cottage is quaint and comfortable, located within beautiful gardens. There is a brilliant adventure playground in the woods and a fun trampoline in the garden. The highlight is the private lake where you can row, kayak and paddle board. Our girls loved it and we spent most of our time here. Tony and Stephanie were wonderful, friendly hosts, always on hand to help if needed. For some reason we had trouble getting the projector and sound to work to watch a movie but Toby came and solved it for us. We also enjoyed a couple of cream teas from the onsite cafe which were delicious. Home made scones! The warm homemade loaf of bread waiting for us on arrival also went down a treat. Our girls also loved playing with the dogs, especially the puppy Nugget! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to return some day.

A very charming and homey cottage in a quaint little hamlet. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a warm, cozy place with no TVs and no distractions. The beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks Femke!

My friend and I had a quiet, peaceful stay at this charming cottage for two nights while we were in the area to hike Snowdon. Rhian provided all the check-in details in advance and even shared some great local recommendations. The house was clean, cozy, and full of character. We would definitely recommend it!
