Great central location, bright and airy. Good host with excellent communication would book again.

We had a fantastic stay at The Black Pearl. We loved the sea views, comfy beds and location. The house was easy to find and reach by taxi or bus, the local bowls club was great for a feed and a few drinks, and the French bakery down the road was perfect for a light breakfast before heading out for the day. It was great to have the fireplace for the chilly nights/mornings, and Kurt and Sacha were quick to respond to our messages. Overall an amazing stay and great value for money.

We stayed at Tim’s place to be close to our wedding venue. We loved the place, and it’s awesome for photos!

Very clean and tidy modern house and interior. Large wooden floored combined kitchen/ lounge/ living area. Great location at the beachfront with views out over the water with sunrise straight out the lounge window. The two and a half bathrooms was a bonus for our larger group. Well fenced with large lawn out the back.

Paula was a great host and the place had everything we could imagine in an AirBnb. Paula's touch of Cheese platter was amazing and definitely enjoyable for whole family as we arrived at midnight. Paula also graciously offered do some basic shopping for us to keep in the kitchen if we needed to eat when we arrived late. Thank you Paula for hosting us

Tanya's place is close to city centre and is in a quiet place. Tanya was always approachable and we had a great time.

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. A really nice apartment on two levels. Well laid out and absolutely everything you need included. Beds super comfy and cozy, and heating in the rooms plus heated towel rails was most welcome at shower time. Lovely afternoon light in the living area. Will be looking to rent this unit again, we loved it.

Jeremy’s place is a private, quiet hidden gem not far at all from bustling Auckland city. Suitable for a romantic getaway, the bathroom and spa are key factors in this… You must see it for yourself! The views of the rolling meadows during the day is great and even better at sunrise or sunset. Jeremy and Rae are fantastic hosts, very informative about the surrounding area and just super chill. Thank you so much J + R! You made my partner and I’s getaway that much more special.

We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice and it is set in peaceful leafy surrounds. It was spotless, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Raes home was stunning and so peaceful - perfect spot to relax and unwind between wedding festivities. It had everything we needed, even local produce to enjoy. Rae was really friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

Great place, and although the interior design had obviously been very artistically thought out and put together, we felt that it fell a little short on practicality. Worktops both in the kitchen and bathroom were stone tiles which, given time, would most likely give the hosts problems with cleaning. Bathroom door kept creeping open - needs a little hook or something similar. Bed was very comfy, and although the chairs were reasonably comfortable, would have preferred a sofa or couch - but it is clear in the listing that there wasn't one. Shower was great! We also went in the 'shoulder season' so unfortunately, the pool, whilst beautiful and immaculately clean, was far too cold for our old bones! But don't let me put you off - the hosts are very lovely people and their little dog is a darling! Nice place to stay, all in all.

We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

We had a great couple of nights and felt right at home. It was an added bonus to have a private and fully fenced backyard, perfect for our wee dog. Close to the motorway and shops etc.

Incredible space in a wonderful part of town. Very close to the lovely beaches and village of Devonport and a short walk to the ferry for quick access to the city or Waiheke Island. Always great communication from Sara-Jane. The bed is very comfortable.

The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and we were early - can’t put into words how peaceful it was to sit on verandah listening to the birds and surrounded by lush tree canopies. Everything we could need was in the kitchen and we catered for 4 adults using gas BBQ for steaks from local shops. The hill is steep but usual for NZ and easily walked (slowly) we are 61 and 64. Thank you Barbara for the lovely welcoming treats including towels for the dog 🐕 and the home grown bananas! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return 💛

My stay at Pip's place was very comfortable and nice. It was a work trip for me but when back from work, it was a very relaxing environment facing the water. There is a walking path just opposite the home and I found that very nice and enjoyable. Pip's communication was excellent and she checked via messages to see if I was ok. Would highly recommend this place.

The accommodations are prepared with careful consideration for guests. It is located in a location with a lot to enjoy on foot.

We absolutely loved the house and the view and we had everything we needed. As a last minute booking, Ben and Alex were so accommodating and communicative and made for an easy stay. Our family enjoyed the peaceful spot and the place itself was so lovely with so many separate spaces for us all to enjoy a relaxing holiday, we’ll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Jessica's. A comfortable space, it had everything we needed. Very homely. We would recommend this suite.
