Great location, restaurant/cafes & general store just over the road and pub was an easy 15 minute walk along the waterfront. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect location to stay for those wanting to explore Freycinet National Park. Walkable to shops. Great place, had everything I needed for my short stay in the area :) Ian was very flexible and responsive as well. Would recommend!

Nice and cosy little apartment. Felt right at home. Just off the main street with shops and restaurants close by. Easy drive to Freycinet National Park, which is a plus.

Great hosts and a great location. Lovely views from the deck and spacious living area. We walked down to Governors for a delicious coffee then walked down Jetty St and along the rocks and beach path. Recommend a walk to the blowhole at high tide. Would love to stay again sometime.

We had an amazing stay, the house is incredible with amazing views, a beautiful fireplace and the hot tub with views of the ocean was awesome. Would highly recommend this very special property to anyone

The location was perfect, peaceful and beautiful, and just a short walk to Redbill Beach which had the best sunsets. The house itself had a great living and kitchen, though the split level living did not really suit our needs the best. The place also was a bit old with some finicky doors and locks. But other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and would gladly stay again the next time in Bicheno!

I had a fantastic stay at Mary’s place! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Mary was an incredibly kind and responsive host who made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Mary, for such a lovely experience!

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

We stayed for 3 nights with 4 adults and 4 children under 5. The home was perfect for our travelling party as it accommodate the kids as well as the adults. We loved the open living space, it allowed the kids to have room to spread out. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms very clean. We’d stay here again if we were to visit Bicheno.

Alison and Rod’s place was wonderful. Far bigger than expected and with everything you could need to feel right at home including a huge DVD collection to help entertain the kids. They also helped us out tremendously when we found ourselves in a lurch by mistakenly not having accommodation our first night in town even though it was late on a Sunday night they helped us sort out alternative accommodation and for an early check in the next day. We’d love to come & stay again one day potentially with a wider group as there was plenty of space and all the facilities for a larger group catch up.
