A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , built on an imposing rock with a unique enveloping and breathtaking view over the sea to the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is located . The house has been recently renovated and enlarged with a modern and design building enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to the Guincho to Cabo Espichel. Two steps from the footpaths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments, and next to good restaurants , from cafes with good surroundings , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for its tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, fully private and access to a large garden with an infinity pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and I know Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountain and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, a picturesque village near Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with walking paths in the Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with its unique beauty, are a paradise for Surf/Kite-surf/Windsurf. I advise you to use your own car.

This charming place is just 5 minutes walk to the beach and Cascais ocean side promenade. To get to Lisbon you can catch the train on nearby train station (2 min walk from flat). This is the absolute best setting/location. It is part of a larger private property within a VERY short walk to Castelo dos mouros from which you can easily walk to palacio Nacional. Also a quick walk down the hill to amazing food and shops. My only complaint was the hot water was not enough to fill both tubs the morning of our departure, but I enjoyed a cold plunge with a view! Thanks for the hospitality Franco!

Worthwhile change from the standard AirBnb. It has more space and is more akin to a very upmarket bed and breakfast. Shared bathroom with one other room, not a problem and highlight was the provision of washing service for a small fee. Nice to share breakfast in a large breakfast room with other travellers. Recommended for those wanting a different AirBnb experience.

I had a lovely stay with Alaize Maria! She is incredibly kind and her home is lovely. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Very close to the train station (where she even very kindly picked me up) and the beach. Easy access into the center of Lisbon and also relaxing beaches right by. I hope to come back to Portugal and stay again.

The kitchen area features a modern design with a sleek countertop, complemented by a unique hexagon-tiled backsplash. A large window offers a view of the outdoor area while allowing natural light to illuminate the space. Elegant fixtures, including a gold faucet, add a stylish touch.

Prompt communication. Nice location close to Cascais and Lisbon. Great restaurants a short drive away and train was 4 min. Uber where we could take train for 4E to Lisbon. Pena palace close as well. Apartment was very clean and comfortable Would be great for 4 couples too.
