Our beautifully renovated 140 m² design apartment is located in the charming village of Münsing, just 2 km from Lake Starnberg. Bright and spacious, the apartment opens onto a large wooden balcony with panoramic views of the Alps and, on clear days, all the way to the Zugspitze. A wonderful setting to start the day overlooking the mountains or simply enjoy the peace of the Bavarian countryside. The apartment features a generous living room with a comfortable lounge area, a modern fully equipped kitchen with a bar, and three inviting bedrooms — two with king-size beds and one with a queen-size bed. There is also a large bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower and WC, an additional separate WC, and a washer-dryer. Two private parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. Everything you need is within walking distance in Münsing, including a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, doctors and several excellent restaurants. Just a few minutes away, Lake Starnberg is perfect for lakeside walks, cycling and water activities. The nearby Alps offer countless opportunities for hiking, day trips and, in winter, days in the mountains. The location offers the best of both worlds: the peace and charm of a Bavarian village surrounded by nature, while Munich can be reached by car in approximately 35 minutes. Bernried - repeatedly voted the most beautiful village in Bavaria - lies on the west shore of Lake Starnberg. The Bernrieder Park (about 80 ha), which is under landscape protection, offers many hiking trails and direct access to the lake. The cultural offerings (including the Buchheim Museum) are attractive. From Bernried you can also quickly reach Munich and the mountains by public transport. Our apartment combines the old and the modern. Four generations have left their mark on this house and make this place special.

Apartment in a quiet location

The apartment is on the first floor of the family house. Next to it is our riding stable and nature (meadows, forest and the lake). The sofa can be folded out into a sofa bed on which 2 children or an adult can sleep. If necessary, a large, comfortable folding mattress (1.20 m wide, 15 cm thick) can be added. It is 3 km to the train station in Tutzing. By train you can get to Munich in 30 minutes and in the other direction to the mountains. It is approx. 10 minutes' walk.
