Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Bernese Highlands

Great stay for a family of four - it is very convenient to all of the various towns and gondolas in the area. We enjoyed cooking quick dinners after long days in this beautiful area. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location ! Large and neatly furnished accommodation. Wonderful balcony on 2 sides of the accommodation with excellent seats and even sun loungers. The only downside is the main road between the accommodation and the lake. This will cause some noise pollution. Cycling in the area is recommended, perfect bike paths around the lake. Nice little apartment not ten minutes drive from Cervinia. Everything looks brand new including the appliances. The dishwasher is worth bonus points and so is the very modern boiler. Very recommended, just be advised that there is no neighborhood to speak of. Perfect for skiing trips, would return again. BTW it's also close to a beautiful grotto and to the Valtournenche skilifts, if you don't want to drive up to Cervinia.

It's a little far from Grindelwald Station, but the bus is also running, and it's far from the main hotels, so it's very serene and peaceful. If I go back, I'll visit again.

Exceptional stay in a beautiful setting. Beautiful hikes around with 3 cable cars that allow access to the surrounding peaks. The apartment is large, clean, everything is well thought out. The view from the Jacuzzi is amazing. Access to the hotel's pool and spa is a very popular plus. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Everyone is won over.

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

This place is unbelievable. Stunning view of the lake and landscape, Mercy is 5* and the place has everything you need. Beautiful balcony that gets the sun all afternoon. Great spot for ferry pick up and explore elsewhere around the lake. Perfect place, perfect host, well worth it.

This is how staying overnight is fun! A studio with passion and style – and full of little things that make all the difference. The attention to detail is noticeable everywhere. I felt at home and completely comfortable from the first moment. Check-in via the keybox is super uncomplicated, the hosts are warm and accessible. This Bijoux is highly recommended.

We enjoyed the stay in Odile's cottage very much. Odile is a super nice and uncomplicated hostess. This panorama from the living room is fantastic.

We had a wonderful time here at Elisa’s. It felt more like visiting someone’s home than a rental apartment. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The air condition was an especially big plus during our visit. We especially loved the view to the mountains from the balcony.

We had a great stay at the house. It felt like what AirBnB was originally meant for - staying in a lived-in actual house instead of a sanitised holiday home. It is well equipped inside and out and you won’t stay in a better location. It is right on the lake for swimming and water sports, but also a short easy walk into town.

Beautifully furnished and functional studio, with outdoor space in a secure residence in the center of Duingt with direct access to the lake... really very nice!

Christophe is very approachable, responds very quickly. Self check-in, which is perfect when you're on the go! Clean accommodation, terrace with exceptional views of the lake, quiet, direct access to the lake path and beaches via private stairs. Well located (restaurants, supermarket 3 min walk!)

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean and very close to the airport. The bus stop to the airport was a five minute ride and the actual stop was only 800 feet from the apartment. The host was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. It was great to be able to do some laundry before we flew home. There were several grocery stores very close to the apartment along with bakeries. I would definitely recommend staying apartment.

We had a great stay at Verena’s place. The apartment is located about a 3 minute walk from the historic center. The parking was really convenient. We were met on arrival and let in to the apartment where everything was explained to us. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Raul was accommodating and very helpful and friendly. We had a young child and a dog with us and were all made welcome. Dolmus II was a beautiful apartment, light and spacious with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to the main areas but far enough away to be private. Would recommend.

We have had a great time in Lipomo, in Mattia's apartment. It has a soul, with lots of old things around, a large double bass in the living room, a library with lots of books (Italian😀), etc. Outside, there are many places to sit and enjoy, depending on where the sun is, or if you want shade. Eugenia (mother of Mattia) has been very helpful with information and help when there have been things we have needed or wondered about. There is a short distance to Como and many of the famous places around the southern part of Lake Como, such as Nesso Bridge and Villa del Balbianello. We enjoyed the idyllic lake Montorfano, and there were also some small, cozy restaurants. Brunate is definitely recommended, both during the day and when it is dark. We highly recommend Mattias' apartment ❤️

Very friendly host, always answers quickly. Nice appartaments, very clean, quite spacious. Maybe could be more different dishes in the kitchen for example little bowls. I would suggest to put hangers in bathroom for clothes. Good wifi. Lots of books for children 🙂. Beautiful view through the windows and balcons to the mountains but you won't want to open the window because of the noise from the road :(. But inside it is ok, no noise. Parking is private just near the house, very comfortable place. Thank You 🙂

Lovely, clean, and cozy place with a stunning view and a spacious terrace. It was perfect for relaxing with kids — we truly felt at home.
