Family-friendly vacation rentals in Berlin

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and probably never had such a gracious host. Berndt was easy to reach, flexible & friendly. The apartment is superbly located, with restaurants & grocery stores nearby. Access to all major public transit is just a short distance away. The roof top deck is delightful. It was a great place from which to explore Berlin!

Super gelegene Unterkunft, direkt am Mauerpark. Denns BioMarkt direkt nebenan, für das schnelle Frühstück. Zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder - ideal, wenn man sich nicht so auf die Pelle rücken möchte!

Appartement confortable. Très calme et à proximité du métro et du centre-ville.

An apt with great atmosphere in a beautiful neighborhood & a super thoughtful host! Vanni’s communication was outstanding - we arrived 8 hrs late, and were personally met for check-in; the fridge was even stocked with juice and milk for the morning - so kind. The apt is cool in all senses, decor and temperature. Quiet too. We loved PrenzlauerBerg: tree-lined streets, cafes and restaurants, with a tram stop right outside the apt. It’s super easy to transit all over using the BVG app. We could’ve spent much more time just exploring the neighborhood. Vanni provided great recommendations and helpful directions. A free music festival during our stay capped off a great first visit to this impressive city. The only minor quibble - there seemed to be a bit of a trick to using the key to get into the building. Maybe a demonstration to guests could be helpful. Overall, this is one of our favourite Airbnbs ever.

We had a really nice stay in Berlin, Sven was very communicative and the apartment had everything we needed, including a great kitchen and nice beds.

Super leuk lief appartement in een hele leuke en levendige buurt! De keuken is perfect om ook af en toe zelf te koken en het openbaar vervoer is heel dichtbij. We hebben genoten van de cafeetjes en het voormalige vliegveld om de hoek. Enige minpuntje was de wat zachte matras en de kussens, die nemen we een volgende keer zelf mee maar dan komen we graag nog eens terug!!!

Ideale rustige, propere plek om na een dag citytrippen te kunnen uitrusten. Het groene terras is zalig en de kamer is gerieflijk en schattig ingericht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is voorzien. Carmen was erg communicatief via de app, maar we hebben haar niet persoonlijk ontmoet. Denk eraan om oordoppen mee te nemen om mee te slapen, want het treinspoor ligt dichtbij.

This place is exactly as described. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to the public transit system so getting around was easy. Thanks for a great stay in Berlin.

Schöne große Altbauwohnung in zentraler, aber dennoch ruhiger Lage! Es gab alles, was man zur Versorgung braucht und um sich wohl zu fühlen, zudem klare Anweisungen zu Nutzung und Aufenthalt und tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen! Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war einfach und freundlich, die Schlüsselübergabe flexibel und unkompliziert. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Martin’s Airbnb was perfect for our five night stay in Berlin. Location is perfect, right on public transit line and walking distance to amazing restaurants, bars, coffee shops and vintage shopping. The place itself was easy to find and absolutely spotless. High ceilings, well stoked kitchen and plenty of linens. Thanks Martin for a lovely stay!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Und eine ganz liebe und nette Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist perfekt für Kreuzberg und Umgebung. Wir waren mit kleinem Kind dort und dafür ist es ebenfalls sehr gut geeignet. Ich hoffe, ich komme bald mal wieder.

Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Perfect, perfect, perfect For our first Airbnb booking, this set the bar high! Absolutely stunning place with everything in pristine condition and well furnished. Heavenly sleep, warm interior design, and wonderful host. The Airbnb is also close to a lot of public transportation and amenities, making our stay run all the more smoothly. Could not recommend it enough!!!

Claus's apartment is the perfect base to explore Berlin. It was spotless and in a lovely neighbourhood. It was also incredibly well equipped. Claus is a super friendly and responsive host and he was kindly very flexible in accommodating check in around our flight times. We couldn't fault our stay and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Katharina, elle a su se rendre très disponible et était à l'écoute de nos besoins. Le logement était impeccable et très bien équipé. Je n'hésiterai pas à revenir séjourner chez Katharina ou recommander ce logement à des amis.

Bei Frank in der Wohnung zu sein, ist immer wieder etwas Besonderes. Die Lage im alten Westen ist perfekt – nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zur Gedächtniskirche, dem Kurfürstendamm und zur U-Bahn. Der Motzstraßenkiez hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme: lebendig, offen, vielfältig und historisch gewachsen. Am nahen Prager Platz schrieb Erich Kästner „Emil und die Detektive“ – das verleiht dem Viertel eine besondere Atmosphäre mit literarischem Flair. Die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern – stilvoll eingerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Franks Sinn für Ästhetik schafft eine warme, einladende Umgebung, in der man sich sofort zuhause fühlt. Alles ist gepflegt, hochwertig ausgestattet und praktisch zugleich. Die Kommunikation mit ihm ist herzlich, schnell und unkompliziert. Man merkt, dass er mit echter Freude Gastgeber ist. Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal dort und freue mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. Absolute Empfehlung von mir!

We were very happy with our stay here. It’s our type of Airbnb - the live like a local type. An authentic, characterful and comfortable home in a very cool area and easy walking distance of transport. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and life around the apartment area but also wonderfully quiet. If you like highly sanitised perfect brand new hotels this wouldn’t be for you but this kind of unique, homey property it’s what makes Airbnbs so enjoyable.

Honestly, such a good place and such good hosts. It's literally on the outskirts of Berlin so it'll take quite a bit to get into Berlin proper (30 min - 1 hr). But if you want to be in the city, but still escape the chaos, loudness, etc., this is a great place! The hosts were so warm, inviting, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable in their home. Really feels like an apartment and surprisingly spacious.

The location is great—SBahn, UBahn, busses that can take you anywhere in Berlin. The layout works well, the three of us had plenty of room. The outdoor balcony is private and great for breakfast. There are a number of smaller but well stocked groceries close by, also two bakeries for morning Brötchen. I’ve stayed in a number of Airbnb’s in Berlin—I’d stay here again.

Perfect in every single regard - great location (private but also so accessible to everything in Berlin), beautiful spacious apartment equipped with everything you could need (inclusive of a sauna) and Martin is the best host you can ask for (responsive, attentive and friendly). If I could give 10 stars I would!

We loved our week in Stephanie’s place, it was perfectly located for travelling around Berlin, with the SBahn and Trams less than 200 metres away. The apartment had everything we needed and there were plenty of eating options on our doorstep. Highly recommended.
