The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771.
