Beautiful and spacious house. The photographs do not do justice to the size and space of the house. Large rooms, lots of sleeping options. Nice outdoor spaces. Quiet and peaceful location. Very handy for supermarket and train. Excellent host - very responsive and helpful.

We had an amazing stay. We had alot of space in the apartment and it was spotless. For families with a small child it was a really good place to stay

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. The house was just fantastic in beautiful countryside with birds chirping and the bleating of the sheep. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time out. I booked spontaneously and everything was perfectly prepared, the kitchen is super equipped and otherwise you feel right at home. Thank you!

A beautiful place for people seeking peace and quiet, forest and bird lovers! You feel enveloped and embraced by trees and their inhabitants. The house is spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. From the house, it's hard to decide which of the many paths you want to walk almost alone.

Everything was just excellent! The apartment is very cozy, clean and exactly as described. The hosts are wonderful – friendly, helpful and attentive. I was there with my children and we felt at home. For me, this was real hospitality and an expression of respect for the guests – something that you don't find everywhere. Andreas' apartment met our expectations. It is bright and friendly, and the surrounding balcony invited you to linger between the rains. The associated parking lot and elevator were particularly practical. We felt comfortable in the quiet surroundings and can recommend the apartment.

Room was clean and warm with everything I needed, and a very comfortable bed. Host was so friendly and helpful. And I loved staying so close to the horse stables and being able to see the horses in the morning. This stable was very clean and you could see that the animals were well loved and respected! I would definitely stay again, thank you!

Lutz and his wife were great and helpful. We were allowed to safely lock our gravel bikes in the garden house and the place was perfect. We will be happy to come back on the next tour.

The accommodation corresponds to the description, the contact with Franziska and Marie-Luise was always nice and the two are easily accessible. Check-out was very flexible, which I really appreciated.

Perfect place to stay in Cologne, very friendly and helpful hosts, Josef's son was in constant contact with us, as our check-in time was delayed due to problems with the trains. He proved to be a great help in getting around Cologne. I do really reccommend Josef's place. It's a 2min walk to the nearest train station to get to the center, or you can walk to the center in about 30min.Place was very clean and had a nice view of the garden. Lovely hosts in a lovely city. 7 days of pure paradise! The peaceful surroundings and the cozy house took us straight out of the stress of everyday life. The house is fully equipped. We were able to cook something every day, because there was everything from pans and pots to a potato peeler and grater, just great! The area invites you to hike for hours. Our dog also felt comfortable from the first day. Especially in the garden :) We will definitely come again :)!
