Full of original character, the 145-year-old cottage has been renovated and extended into a wonderful home.

The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

Quiet and peaceful yet 2 minutes' drive from a great village which has two super pubs. 5 miles from beaches and 3 minutes' drive to the wonderful New Forest. This hut is called Primrose. King size bed with 100% cotton linen, with a choice of pillows. Kitchen with a microwave/grill, small fridge and hob. Underfloor heating. Full size shower and toilet within the hut. Outside shelter for washing dogs/boots and facilities for bike washing on site. Private parking and enclosed garden with out door seating. Welcome pack provided. Famous Jurassic Coast Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are close.

Godwin's cottage is a stunning refurbished 18th Century thatched cottage. Although attached to the main property, it has its own private entrance, private roof terrace and large fenced garden area with private Hot Tub & BBQ, so plenty of space to spread out and relax, whether it's al fresco breakfast in the morning or an evening dip in Hot Tub watching the sun set over fields. We also have outbuildings which can store bikes or if required.

This dog friendly converted church is is typically available April to October each year. It consists of 2 large reception areas, 3 large double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. ( one of which is en suite to the master bedroom. Surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside the property is on the banks of River Frome and close to the Jurassic coast. Most of Dorset's main attractions are within 5 miles and all 30 mins by car.

Come and stay in our newly renovated annex. It offers one double bedroom, a shower room, a well equiped kitchen, and a spacious lounge and dining area. It is light and airy with a modern, cosy feel. Coombe Keynes is 7 miles from Wareham and a short drive from the Jurassic coast. The next village of Wool offers everyday essentials, and there are a number of local pubs offering excellent food.
