Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Laura and Luciano were very attentive, upon arrival we were given lots of useful information on local activities and places to visit within the time we had. Went above and beyond to provide us with timings for certain buses and trains. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly as described if not better! Can’t think of anything negative, if I return to Bellagio I would definitely stay again. Thank you !

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Enrica was a great host from start to finish. The traguetto (boat) leaves you close to the small street that takes you up to the apartment. It is a long set of stairs in pebbles until you get to the apartment entrance. Then you need to take another set of stairs to the apartment, which is on the 4th floor. So, if you have mobility issues, this may be an inconvenient for you. We didn't mind the stairs especially with the AMAZING view we had from the living room. The apartment has two rooms. Master bedroom has a king size bed and the other room has two twin size beds. Both rooms were a good size which met our needs perfectly. There is a washer machine that was a HUGE plus for us. It has no dryer, but we put all the clothes in the drying rack and everything got dry with no issues. We absolutely loved Bellagio, and the apartment is very comfortable and in a great location if you dont mind going up and down the stairs and a small bathroom. Klod was very welcoming & provided us with lots of details about the area & recommendations. The apartment is in a beautiful location with amazing views & was so peaceful after a days exploring. It is a 30 min walk downhill into town so not for those less able although there is a bus. Loved our time there

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. The pictures that are posted don’t even do it justice! The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful in person. And the place is right at the center of all the beautiful shops and the boats to Veranna, Lenno, Menaggio, etc. Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights and were extremely satisfied! Highly recommend!!! My only wish is that the WiFi had a better signal!

Glenda was one of the best hosts we had in Italy. She was so kind, responsive, great restaurant reservations and even changes we had to make. We loved her outside decks it was so peaceful and beautiful. We would go back again. I call her my friend if she comes tomorrow visit us in California. Love her. Very knowledgeable of the region when the travel guide she developed. Amazing resources. Thank you Glenda.

This is a one of a kind airbnb - an extremely beautiful home. Great for a romantic trip. If you are planning to do significant travel in between towns, it is a bit more difficult location-wise as it is a ~20-25 minute walk (no sidewalk) to Torno for ferries and taxis are hard to come by, but you can plan your day around the ferry times. Monica was very responsive and made check-in easy. Would stay here again.

Had the best time in Emanuela's apartment! She was so accommodating when we arrived earlier in the day, allowing us to drop our bags off so we didn't have to carry them about. Once we checked in, she was so helpful with local recommendations and tips. The apartment itself is stunning, right on the waterfront and has so much charm and personality! It allows for easy access to the busier parts of the lake, yet is in a peaceful area! Would entirely recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit, and will hopefully visit again at some point in the future!

This place is divine. The view overlooking the lake never gets old and provides so much tranquility. I stayed here with my boyfriend and we asked for the single beds to be merged and it was not a problem for Michaela or for us. The single beds are large and together even larger for a double. The bed and linen were very comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. This place has every amenity you can think of including a wet suit! Driving in was easy and the probate parking lot was ample. It’s away from restaurants and tourists which makes the location even more tranquil. This place is perfect for a couple or two girlfriends! Looking forward to returning to this place on our next trip to Lake como!

Awesome spot! Stayed here for one night for our honeymoon trip. Great view, easy access to great restaurants, beautiful area to walk around, and super friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Wir haben uns bei Sonja vom ersten Empfang heimisch gefühlt. In der Wohnung fehlte es uns an nichts. Sie ist vollständig und für körperlich eineschränkte Gäste ausgestattet, bis hin zum Nähzeug und kleinen Gesellschaftsspielen. Eine familiäre Atmosphäre haben wir auf dem gesamten Gelände gespürt, mit Spielsachen und -geräten für Kinder. Sonja war uns gegenüber immer verbindlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Aufenthalt, den wir schon heute zu unseren schönsten Urlaubsunterkünften zählen und uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.

Best way to describe this location is STUNNING! The views are breath taking - more beautiful in person than the photos! We loved our stay - hard to beat having morning coffee & evening wine surrounded by such beauty! The night view when the lights appear is as beautiful as the day view! A car was necessary but well worth it. David was a very responsive and helpful host & we would definitely stay again if we have that opportunity!

We really enjoyed our stay at Matteos apartment and really appreciated the flexibility provided at check in. The view is spectacular and a short walk into the old town. Supermarket is within 10 min walk which is great for buying food supplies and the apartment itself is spacious and comfortable I would recommend this apartment and stay again

We had a wonderful stay, everything just as described. Bonus it’s on the main level and one of the first homes up that street (lots of walking and hills in general in bellagio so it was nice to reach our stay a little easier then some ;) there were a couple occasions other tourists were walking with us and would comment “oh wish we lived here or were already here” as they had much farther walks from town

Die Kommunikation auch schon im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und die Anreise war somit einfach und entspannt. Wir wurden, als wir ankamen, ganz herzlich in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung ist toll und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Es ist alles durchdacht und fehlt an Nichts. Das habe ich bisher selten erlebt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und ich kann diesen Ort zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Stefano et Laura sont des hôtes très agréables, réactifs et organisés. Communication efficace. Nous avons pu bénéficier d’un garage à 5 min, très pratique car il n’y a pas de stationnement à proximité. L’appartement était spacieux, propre, joliment décoré, avec un petit balcon, literie confortable et TV connectée. En revanche, nous avons été déçus par Bellagio : le village est très petit, envahi de touristes venus surtout pour faire des photos. L’ambiance nous a semblé superficielle, sans animation, surtout le soir : tout ferme tôt, seuls quelques restos et cafés restent ouverts. Le paysage était en partie gâché par des hôtels en travaux. En résumé : logement et hôtes au top, merci à eux pour leur accueil chaleureux, mais nous ne reviendrons pas à Bellagio.
