The snowgum chalet was absolute serenity. A very peaceful and romantic get away for me and my partner. The only noise was from the ducks and birds which we loved. Very private and secluded. Pool was cold but the hot spa made up for it. Wendy was very accomodating and efficient in her responses. Thankyou for having us - beautiful weekend :)

Wendy's place was amazing and Wendy was very contactable. We had a few questions prior to our arrival and Wendy was able to promptly reply to our messages. Check-in details were also provided very clearly and was very easy!

Cozy log cabin for a rainy winter weekend. We basically stayed inside and made it our home base for 3 days and it was perfectly equipped. It was hard to appreciate the setting with the weather, but the river is not visible from the property which we didn't realise. Claudia was very responsive and was able to arrange extra firewood for payment for us. The house was very comfortable and warm with the fire. We appreciated the complimentary wine and large TV for watching footy. Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay, easy to find, private cabins and so close to so many attractions. Anne and Maurie are great, friendly and helpful hosts. We all loved the farm tour and there is so much to do on the farm and close by. We will definitely be back, already planning our next stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cabin nestled in a picturesque setting, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning surroundings. One of the highlights of my stay was the abundance of birdlife in the area. Each morning, I awoke to the melodious sounds of chirping birds, which served as a gentle alarm clock, welcoming the day with a symphony of nature. The cabin also featured a beautiful pool area that was perfect for relaxation. The pool was well-maintained, with crystal-clear water that sparkled in the sunlight. There were plenty of comfortable lounge chairs around the pool.

Was a beautiful stay! Such a lovely view, nice stroll on the property to look at highland cows and horses. Dogs were very friendly! Outdoor spa and fire pit were amazing additions to the AirBNB. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

This house is absolutely amazing! Extremely spacious both indoors and outdoors. Fantastic location very easy to get around. A thoughtful gift was left upon our arrival making this stay a step above the rest, I would highly recommend especially for larger groups. Thanks Leigh and the team

We stayed for one night at Trish’s cabin as a brief stop over on our journey from Melbourne to Sydney. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful the place was. The Cabin was clean and tidy and very comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was great! Marley and Roley were such adorable and friendly dogs - both hung out with us whenever we stepped out for a stroll around the property. As a bonus, Marley decided to sleep in our cabin overnight, which we absolutely loved. Our little boy was delighted to interact with the dogs, little lambs and some cows in the property. Thanks for hosting us Trish and family! We would definitely book this place again next time we drive between Sydney and Melbourne.

spectacular setting! private, peaceful, calm, and relaxing. my son and I hiked Mt Feathertop, and this was a perfect home base. great communication from host, very friendly and quick response to questions.

Great location

Great place. Interior very clean, spacious bedrooms with tv. Even though the description says no essentials the place had everything you need. Location is good, about 10-15 min drive to Yarrawonga. We really enjoyed the stay, can’t fault the accommodation it was perfect. There is also tavern 2min walk, great atmosphere, life music but once you are back in your cabin you can’t even hear it so no issues with noise. I would note recommend ordering food, we waited 1hr for a pizza and it wasn’t even good.

Had an excellent stay in one of the cottages. We’ve been here a couple of times & each stay has been lovely. Modern kitchen & bathroom, comfy beds & two adorable dogs that love to say hi!

We’ve been to Bright many times. This is the best place we’ve stayed. Perfect size for us and our small dog and a lovely walk into town. We’ll be back!

What a peaceful, cosy cabin in beautiful surroundings! The cabin was a delight to stay in and had everything we needed for a couple of days of bike riding in nature. Fiona met us on arrival and was really helpful with tips and the info we needed. She also left some crumpets and local honey for us, which were delicious! The cabin itself was spotless, well appointed with all amenities and the cosy fire was a delight. The evenings were so peaceful and bed very comfy so we slept really well. And it was so nice to wake up to the sounds of the birds in the trees around. We had a wonderful weekend in the cabin and look forward to when we can return next.

This is a bit of a hidden gem. Perfectly - and I do mean perfectly - clean, oozing charm, beautiful views and every amenity we could have asked for. Lovely hosts, and really nice little touches like the welcoming wine and muffins. Quiet, cosy and relaxing. We've stayed at other Airbnbs in the area, but this has been the best yet!

I had booked this a birthday present for my wife. The photos looked very impressive. My only slight reservation was there was a spilt system for heating and we were arriving in early winter. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that the owners have just installed a beautiful wood burning stove which was roaring away when we arrived. It completed the very cosy ambience. This is a very well crafted home. A tin outbuilding that has been beautifully decked out in an eclectic bohemian style with some imaginative design elements, including using the old copper wood fired laundry tub as a bathroom sink. Bright is a few minutes away and a beautiful place to visit. We walked to the top of the Apex Lookout and then lunch at Clean Bowled. Back to the house for an outdoor bath and then dinner at Chop Chop and an arthouse movie in the beautiful cinema. A perfect weekend! This is a rural property so there are some local cockerels who start early but we were able to get back to sleep.

Brilliant stay at Sambar Hills. Sally was great and we hit up the Chrismont Winery which was the best winery we’ve been to. Highly recommend, will be coming back.

Our family of four had a lovely long weekend at the cosy cabin! Such a great spot, so close to town and easy to walk everywhere - even though it was very rainy and cold while we were there, we enjoyed the place thoroughly. I was a bit concerned that we'd be cold, but the heating was very effective and the double bed had a lovely electric blanket. There were extra blankets provided too. Great value stay and fantastic place. We'll be back for sure!

the moment you arrive at Maudes cottage you know it's special. the attention to detail, love, care and pride that Wendy puts in is exceptional. The cottage is picture book cute, perfectly clean and decorated, functional with style. Wendys messages were genuine and helpful... we definitely want to return one day and hopefully meet the lady behind this gem in the mountains... thank Wendy and Elle

Cabaña Gris is a fabulous little place in the beautiful Dinner Plain village, with everything we needed and more—a well-equipped kitchen that was spotlessly clean. The main living area has a lovely fireplace and we enjoyed our first cosy fire for the season. As the cabin is beautifully built, with great insulation, we were kept toasty and warm all night long. Our hosts were excellent to deal with, communication was outstanding, and their response time was super quick. Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to returning to Cabaña Gris in the near future.
