It was lovely to meet David and Bob the dog. The house and garden was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay at his place. Plenty of amenities in the property and lovely outside space. Would highly recommend staying here, hopefully we will get to stay again when we are in the area. Andrea, Clive, & Sue. 💜

The Barn, Cowherd Shute Farm, Motcombe

We had a great time at Serena’s barn. Amazing location and so close to everything you need. Peaceful and comfortable. Beautiful garden and the barn was very well equipped. We appreciated the treats Serena left for us including the gorgeous tulips. Her communication was excellent. We knew she was there if we needed anything. Highly recommended.

One bed Lodge in AONB Dorset with shared pool area

AngusRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This cottage is in the very attractive, historic, quiet village of Iwerne Minster and has been been done up incredibly well, with everything one should need provided for. Neat and compact but with a peaceful and comfortable bedroom upstairs plus a good living area as you come in the door. An added bonus would be the pool, just outside the door, in the months that it is open for use. This was a perfect base to explore the many delights of Dorset and I would happily recommended it to any couple looking for accommodation.

Beautiful eco lodge with stunning rural views

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay in the eco-lodge. The view, from both inside the lodge and from the garden, is superb. Nicely furnished, very clean. Bridget was a very helpful host. Lots of lovely walks in the area and Shaftesbury is a beautiful town. We will definitely return.

Bakery Cottage

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Had a wonderful stay at Bakery Cottage. It’s extremely comfortable and well appointed, with exactly the right mix of historical interest (including the showstopping inglenook and some lovely furniture) and modern comfort. For such a small cottage every room feels spacious - the bathroom in particular was very roomy. It was extremely warm during my stay and the garden was both a sun trap and shady, embowered pollinator’s delight - just beautiful - but when it’s cooler the cottage must be an extremely warm and cosy bolt hole. Add one of the most generous welcome hampers I can remember, great communication (down to a text message about the blanket I mistakenly left) and a warm welcome, it’s 10/10 for Susanne and Bakery Cottage - thank you very much and we’ll be back!
