This 200 year old stone cottage is set in half acre of mature garden surrounded by trees. It is the perfect spot for a romantic get away or to just chill out and relax. It is ideally situated to tour all the amenities of the west of Ireland. An area of 80 Sq Mtrs comprises 2 double bedrooms a bathroom with shower toilet and wash basin upstairs. A sunny sitting room with TV and DVD player is also located upstairs. Downstairs there is an open plan dining and well equipped kitchen area complete with dish washer gas cooker with oven and fridge. Luxurious aptartment with all of the normal services, very comfortable & clean, hardwood floors,includes slate pool table, high speed wifi ,mini gym, large infra red sauna ,free use of 2 adult bicycles and kayak! Beautiful views from balcony (incl croagh patrick!),only 8 mins walk to to town centre where there is usually something to do, 10 mins drive to Knock shrine,20 mins to knock west airport, 30 to Westport/croagh patrick, 45 to Galway city. Enjoyable during summer days & long winter nights

If you are looking for a perfect location walkable to Tuam city center with fabulous hosts in a breathtaking home look no further. My stay was peaceful, quiet, scenic, and also a lot of fun as both Majella and Arthur were friendly and helpful. It was exactly what I needed and I would highly recommend to anyone that needs a convenient location with easy access to all of West Ireland. 10/10

Enjoyed a great stay at Dara's. The house is really spacious and great for family getaways. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom in particular catered for my father who is a wheelchair user. House is very modern and clean and would definitely stay again when visiting Tuam.

Agnes is a delight and as other reviewers have said, goes above and beyond. We had a lovely chat shortly after arriving and Agnes gave us the tour and shared recommendations. We were only there for the night but the suite, beds and continental breakfast were luxurious and after our long day, were very much appreciated! Highly recommend.
