Under the Apple Tree – Country Home in Morvan

Charming country house, ideal for families, with terrace and large garden in Montreuillon, a village on the Yonne River. An old house with terracotta tiles and period materials, it has retained its authenticity and may show some signs of age, without compromising on comfort. Bakery/grocery store a 3-minute walk away. Shops and restaurants 20 minutes away by car. The Morvan region is ideal for activities: hiking, fishing, canoeing, the Vélorail bike trail, Vézelay, and the Pannecière and Settons lakes.

The Pond Farm

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Gîte - The little house

Located at the gates of the Morvan, near Vézelay, in the hamlet of Flez in Neuffontaines, the gîte "La petite maison" and its garden have a unique unobstructed view of the Nièvre valleys. Warm and friendly, the house has a living room with fireplace with a wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom (shower, toilet and sink), 2 bedrooms (one bedroom on the ground floor with 1 double bed and one bedroom upstairs with 1 double bed and 1 single bed) and a small veranda.

The Goldfinch's Nest

Le Nid du Chardonneret is conveniently located close to the Étangs de Baye et Vaux (500 m walk) and the Canal du Nivernais. Right near plenty of outdoor activities. View of the lake. Located at the gateway to the Morvan and many tourist attractions (Guédelon Medieval Village, Vézelay, Tannay and Pouilly vineyards, Compierre archaeological site, etc.), this property will make a great base for exploring the region. Perfect for nature lovers! Anglers/hikers… Very quiet.

Peaceful and quiet oasis in the Morvan

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 ha of land, a pond (very often dry), and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults; it disturbs the neighborhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction. Cottage in the town of Montapas, at the gates of Morvan. At the edge of two ponds (swimming with MNS and fishing), you can enjoy the calm of the countryside. Nature, hiking and cycling lovers will thrive. Nearby, Chatillon-en-Bazois will welcome you for its shops and its castle surrounded by the Nivernais Canal. 30 minutes from Morvan, with its lakes and rivers. For food lovers, you can visit the cellars of the Loire Valley in 45 minutes (Sancerre/Pouilly).

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

Terrace on the water, chestnut cottage

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.
