The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margravial Schreez Castle. In 2021 & 2022, we completely renovated the house.

Our lovingly renovated apartment is located in a quiet, green residential area – ideal for unwinding after an eventful day. The spacious terrace overlooking the countryside invites you to linger. Perfect for festival visitors: You can easily walk to the Festspielhaus in only 10 minutes. The city center is about 2.5 km away – ideal for those who appreciate the proximity to nature but still want to be quickly in the heart of Bayreuth. The main train station is also easily accessible (1.8 km).

Very nice cozy 1 room. Apartment in the heart of Bayreuth. On foot: 2 min. to the train station, 5 min. to the city center The apartment is on the 2nd floor. It is 35 m2 in size with a large living/sleeping area, a completely new kitchenette in the entrance area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a new tumble dryer and a washing machine. Cozy studio apartment in quiet residential area, close to the center, with views over Bayreuth and unique sunsets. You can walk to downtown Bayreuth in a 20-minute walk. The train station and an Aldi can be reached in about 8 minutes on foot. The Festspielhaus can be reached in about 15 minutes. A large natural park, the former grounds of the state garden show, can be reached in 10 minutes. You can park right in front of the residential complex, along the road.

Die Lage bietet eine optimale Grundlage für Shopping- und Sightseeingtouren innerhalb von Bayreuth, Fichtelgebirge und Fränkische Schweiz. Sie brauchen also nicht zwingend einen PKW um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden; zumal in Bayreuth ein umfassendes Nahverkehrskonzept per Bus und Bahn existiert, und für Touren ins Umland stehe ich mit meinem PKW (gegen Bezahlung) gern zur Verfügung

Beautiful, quiet apartment with everything you need. Amenities are complete, the apartment is very spacious. Bathroom is small but OK. Communication with the landlord very good and uncomplicated. Price/performance is right!

New place to stay

Light-flooded 2-room apartment in Bayreuth

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra's place. The communication was super friendly, the reception warm and the apartment nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable.

A kitchen cabinet is displayed with multiple shelves. Clear drinking glasses are arranged on the top shelf, while various patterned mugs are positioned on the bottom shelf. Additional items such as spice containers and a small dish are placed on the second shelf.

Cozy apartment in the center

Jonas' apartment was great, but pretty low for people over 1.80m. Even the cats were included: if you don't want the cats to cuddle with you in bed at night, don't leave the big window open. The pillows could be better, they are very uncomfortable. But otherwise everything is tiptop!

The living area features a spacious bed with light bedding, alongside a bright kitchen area equipped with modern appliances. Dining space is provided with wooden chairs and a table. Large windows allow natural light to enhance the warm ambiance, offering views of the balcony.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Super clean, everything you need & very nice and uncomplicated communication. Absolute recommendation!

Cozy, quiet one-room apartment near the university

Our first Airbnb experience, which was also very positive! The apartment was exactly as described, clean, very well equipped, we didn't miss anything. We would even provide an extra mattress without asking because we arrived with a small child. The bike was super convenient for quick shopping nearby. The location is very quiet and within walking distance of the university/ botanical garden. It takes about 8 minutes by car to get to the city center. The communication with the host was excellent, quick and very friendly. We would book the accommodation again at any time.
