The Cajun Getaway is southern comfort at its finest. It was like home away from home for us. We love everything about it and it’s on our list of places to revisit. Centrally located to all the best places to visit and dine in SW Louisiana. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were respectful of our privacy. 10 out of 10.

Sanaz was a great host! Very accommodating and brought me extra supplies that I needed. Comfortable bed and quiet area. Would definitely stay again!

We came in town for my son college orientation. Although we drove to orientation. You can easily walk to campus. trips in future will probably be walked to campus from the air b and b. I will be definitely staying there again over next 4 years while my kid is in college. Beds are comfortable kitchen clean and has everything if you need to cook or warm food.

Amazing place. Very small on paper but seems spacious and delivers on all the comforts and necessities. Lovely feel with great local artwork and touches. Quite, secluded and perfectly placed to walk the beautiful Acadiana town, so well preserved. The church, cemetery, farm and retreat across the street are magical and soothing.

This place is so adorable!! The photos do not do it justice - it's an old historic Cajun cabin. The bathroom was much larger than I thought and has an original claw tub. The upstairs loft has the 2 twin beds and a double - very roomy. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful - horses, chickens, citrus trees, old barns etc.... You are close to the highway, but feel like you are deep in the country. The only downside to this place is that we only spent 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. This airbnb is perfect for an isolated getaway of quite and relaxation. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed for one night, and Morris had anticipated every need a guest might have while away from home. Everything was clearly labeled, including the lights and cabinets. Morris also left helpful notes, such as “Remove stove top cover before turning on burners.” this made us laugh because someone must have forgotten to do this. He even provided a sound machine in the upstairs bedroom, which was a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets available if needed. The back porch, which overlooked the bayou, was peaceful, and the house is situated in a nice neighborhood. A book was provided that contained more information about the home and recommended places to eat while visiting. We will definitely be back!

Kim was a wonderful Host! She goes above and beyond to make your stay special! From little personal notes to special gifts and snacks! Her home is beautiful safe and has everything and more you need. If you forget anything I assure you it’s probably there! She provides so much that it’s a great escape and it’s so peaceful spending time in her beautiful pool under the patio! From the rocking chairs to the surrounding sound Bluetooth speakers for your music! I will definitely be using her place again for an escape!

I loved everything about this place!! This loft was the BEST!! It was very clean and spotless, the loft even smelled clean, the artwork was absolutely fantastic and enjoyable to look at, the backyard felt like a botanical garden, the plants were amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable!! 20/10 recommend!!

This was a great, peaceful and private place. Very comfortable bed. The A/C worked wonderfully and a fan was provided as well. Couldn't even tell it was 90 degrees outside. Very affordable and a 5 star experience!

Perfect cozy place for a weekend trip! The host made everything so easy! Convenient location for us. My daughter lives in The District apartments & this is just down the road. Wish we would have known about this place before, in the 2 years she was at LSU!

This is probably the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. I would give it 10 stars if I could. It really says a lot about a host who pays attention to detail from start to finish. Not only was this place, beautiful, clean, well decorated, and had so many amenities, but you could tell the kind of dedication that was put into the Airbnb. It was built extremely well, the attention to detail in the building alone was impressive. In addition the decor was unique and inviting. This would be a great stay for a small family, and a lovely couples getaway. Everything was beautiful and the host had special touches from a local snack to a bottle of wine making a long day of driving feel non existent. In addition having a list of air bnb info right on the kitchen island alongside the hosts favorites and recommendations for the area was the cherry on top. There's no doubt in my mind that I would recommend this spot to anybody staying in Lafayette and I would absolutely stay here again.

If your looking for solitude, This place is it. I was down here for work purposes, getting off work everyday and coming home to this spot was very relaxing for me. The fishing off the back deck was definitely my favorite part about our stay. Host was very helpful, and very polite. I cannot wait to stay here again.

House was fully furnished. Bed was super comfortable for my liking. Met John once on our way in for the night he seemed super nice! Would rent again if ever on that side of the U.S. again

Clean and well organized guest house, perfect for solo guest or couple, minutes from businesses in Baker and Zachary, convenient parking, huge walk-in closet, well furnished. Very nice place.

This was our first experience using an Airbnb. We cannot overstate how pleased we were with the accommodations. Beautifully decorated and having everything we could need or want. I’d highly recommend the Guest Pass for anyone coming to Baton Rouge.

We stayed at Patrick's for one night as we were driving to Florida. His place met our needs and was exactly as described. We had a couple of questions and Patrick responded promptly and was very helpful. There was also a running track just down the road at a local school which was a great place to stretch the legs after a long day of driving. Other people out for walks or runs in the neighbourhood were very friendly. We found a good Mexican spot very close by for dinner. Overall, we were pleased with our experience. We would recommend this place to others.

This place is amazing, The host is really sweet and will make sure you have everything you need. If you love cats and want to get some alone time this is the right place for ya.
