Joe was extremely communicative and helpful, ensuring it was easy for us to get into the house and had everything we needed for our family of young kids. ‘Clean and beautiful, spacious rooms and the view stunning. And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

Our family had a great week at Rob’s cottage in Rotorua. The location is perfect no matter what your plans are with great lake views. The cottage itself has everything you need and the welcome pack of local produce for staying a week was really appreciated and enjoyed. Rob clearly takes pride in the place, evident through the communications leading up to check in and the personal greeting and walk through of the cottage. We would absolutely stay again. Kirsty is absolutely awesome! Her communication was excellent, and everything about the stay exceeded my expectations. I’m honestly a bit jealous and almost don’t want to share this gem of a location because it’s so perfect—I’m afraid too many people will discover it and ruin the peaceful vibe! I had an amazing 5 days here. The cottage is incredibly peaceful, right next to the lake, with reliable internet and no phone signal distractions. If you’re looking to write a book, set goals, do research, or just recharge, this is hands down the best place ever. I’m definitely coming back!

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!
