Farmstay vacation rentals in Bavaria

We had a wonderful stay at Irmgard's apartment. Check-in was straightforward with a key box and in the evening Irmgard came by for a personal greeting. Everything was very clean and the view from the living room was magnificent. You can reach the Rottachsee on foot and pass cows, sheep, goats and horses on the way! You can easily swarm out in a star shape by car and discover a lot. We had a very nice holiday and would be happy to come back.

The stay at Rolf's place was remarkable. It is spacious and roomy with all the comforts of home and more. The restoration to the facility was amazing and well thought out. Everything was well stocked, and we did not lack for anything. Rolf greeted us and gave us the grand tour and was available for any recommendations for things to see and do. We were centrally located to all the must-see places. We were not more than an hour or hour and a half from the things we wanted to do, so it was easy to daytrip out. The surroundings were lovely, with all the neighboring fields and countryside. Walking the streets in the morning was refreshing. Our friends that came with us had never been to Europe before and this was a great experience.

Rosi and her family are super hospitable! We felt very comfortable and will definitely book again. The farm ice cream is very tasty and the cheese is also highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable with Andrea and her family! The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos and description, and nothing was missing from the amenities. The views are definitely unique, as is the surrounding area. Our stay with Andrea was not only uncomplicated, but also very familiar and warm. We will definitely be back!

We spent 5 very nice days family vacation at Martina and Josef's. The toddler was well occupied: sliding, feeding rabbits, stroking cats, driving a Bobbycar tractor. Books and toys were also there, which we could also use well in view of the bad weather. A highlight: fresh strawberries and eggs from the farm. Plus the location: climbing rocks within a few minutes' walk and other activities within short driving distances. Disadvantage: The really loud frogs right in front of the house and the ringing of the bells at 6:00 (after a few days, however, we had already gotten used to it). The place was absolutely sufficient for 5 and a half people, everything was tidy and well maintained. Dishwasher and microwave would have increased the comfort a little, but of course you can also manage without. We gladly recommend Bühnershof and would only wish for better weather for the next stay ;-)

The apartment has everything you need. Everything is as good as new! The location is great and it's very quiet. Everyone in the house was very friendly and helpful. For us, the apartment was perfect! Fresh eggs were available for purchase. If you need it dark, you should bring sleeping glasses. The bathroom is clean but a little small. The balcony is narrow, but this is normal for the type of building. But if you want to do everything on foot, this is the wrong place. A car is necessary here. Thank you for 5 great nights.

The apartment looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very modern and high-quality. We were warmly welcomed by Anita and Sepp. There were flowers, coffee and homemade jam in the apartment. Towels were plentiful and there was the possibility to get fresh rolls in the morning. The fireplace was burning when we arrived, which was very nice. Anita is a host with all her heart. You just feel comfortable and welcome from the first moment. The location of the apartment is a dream. You can go hiking directly and enjoy nature. We can 100% recommend the apartment.

We spent two nights with the two, the surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. The entire property is well maintained and designed with a lot of love for detail. The photos don't do the place justice, in reality everything is much more beautiful. It is very clean, tastefully decorated and lacks nothing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and communicative. They make a great effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible and there is plenty to discover in the area!

We spent a weekend at Ferdinand's and it was wonderful. The surroundings and tranquility were particularly nice. Everything you need or want is there. It was all very clean. We felt super comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended by us.

We had very nice days in Christa's apartment! The apartment is clean, has everything you need, a beautiful garden and a fantastic view of the mountains from the living room. There is a lot to discover in the area and you can also hike directly from the farm. Christa and her family are really child-friendly, very nice and helpful. Thank you again!

Our stay at the Tiny Hause was amazing. Communication with Susanne has always been excellent and she has always been very flexible. The Tiny Hause has everything needed, is super well equipped and very nice. The place where it is located is idyllic. I would always come back:) Thank you.

Our family stayed at this beautiful Country cabin type of home for a week during Easter vacation. Sabine and her family were wonderful and helpful and treated us like family. The home and location was perfect for our stay in Germany as it was central to places we wished to visit and see. The elevator, Sauna and ping pong table were fun bonuses. The two vehicle garage was perfect for us and with each room being on its own level and having its own washroom and shower was beneficial, there is no common washroom in the home however this was a minor detail for us. The home was fully equipped with cooking items and cutlery and dishes and has a wine fridge. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the large windows. The town sits next to the Danube River and has a beautiful Church, its own Bakery and two restaurants/bars as well a sports play area with mini-putt and curling. The next town is 10 mins away which has a Grocery Store. We would love to visit her home again.

We had a very good stay at Katrin appartement and we are very satisfied.

A really nice tree house! A highlight is the path up to the tree house, very peaceful and quiet surroundings. We highly recommend the tree house as a special accommodation.

A very big and kind thank you to the hosts. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed the days so much. Anja and André are incredibly friendly, accommodating and warm. We were 3 friendly couples and felt comfortable from the first moment. It is a magnificent place to stay, which is surpassed by the friendly hosts. Arrive and feel at home. It's an old and historic place. Doris greeted us at the entrance and waited for us even though we arrived late. The beds were comfortable, we did not have a shortage of hot water, but naturally, you should not expect the comfort of an apartment from a historical place. Thanks to Doris and her husband

She is a Super Host. Brilliant place if the family is travelling but for sure one should have their own vehicle else it would be difficult.

Great place to relax! The space is fantastic, the kitchen well appointed and perfect to cook a meal at night after a day out. We would have liked some info about the area in English but everything is in German…might have to start learning that because I would love to come back to the area. Uwe and his wife are amazing, respectful and incredibly helpful hosts

I was there with the family for 4 days and would recommend it at any time. The property has several apartments, all of which have their own private outdoor area/garden where you can relax. The accommodation is so beautifully prepared and decorated with a lot of effort that you can only feel comfortable. When it gets dark in the evening and the lights in the garden and around the house turn on, it becomes even more beautiful. There is so much on offer for children here that they wanted to stay there. And even our older dog lady stood in the door on the day of departure and did not want to go home.

Stunning location and beautiful house and space. Car parking. Excellent hosts, especially as we had a flight delay. The views and mountainous countryside were vast. Easy access to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden areas. Ensure familiarity with garbage requirements and tourist tax payments. Be aware of access should heavy snow fall. Need a 4x4 car at least. Would highly recommend overall, as this is a unique place in an amazing location. Thank you Nina and Alexander.

It was a pleasure to relax there. Just silence and peace. One can eat excellent local products, like milk, joghurts, butter, eggs, various types of meat, etc. Thanks, Ute!

Everything is great and a beautiful place to stay with a fantastic view. The only thing you need to know (as a cyclist) is that from Rettenberg there are 200 meters in altitude with just under 10% on average and therefore relaxed rolling home is not possible. In return, you have a fantastic view in the morning!
