Castle vacation rentals in Bavaria

Room S1 in the basement suited us well with our big dog and ski gear. The field at the end of the lane was good for a short dog walk. Everything was easily available, to purchase from the farm shop and the house was quiet for sleeping. Thanks for a great stay!

Well hosted, very nice and proactive staff. The host is complacent and finds solutions as needed. Peaceful environment. The view from my window is a real pleasure and total calm. I particularly appreciate it because I have to work in the home office. Easy access from the highway, close to Starnberg, great for visiting Bavaria. Recommended for a stay here.

Everything is great. The accommodation is amazing, clean and all the guests are very respectful. When you check in they have the detail of leaving you fresh milk from their own animals and you can feel super comfortable. The only drawback is the location if you don't have your own vehicle as the bus runs every 2 hours and isn't available on weekends. The workers are very friendly and are always willing to help you, they gave us a ride when we didn't have transportation available. I would definitely recommend it!

We felt very comfortable in the Schloss Möhren. Sandra and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll be very happy to come back.

A short vacation as we expected. A historic building with everything that goes with it. Plank floors, stucco ceilings, as it used to be. Nothing embellished or perfect as in a new building. We felt very comfortable again and enjoyed it. Two more flat plates would be great. Unsleben moated castle is always worth a trip.

Viktoria offers a great accommodation in a castle, everything was exactly as described and she was truly helpful and communicative! We really enjoyed the weekend in such a beautiful, cozy and relaxing place. Definitely recommend it!

Scenic place with great atmosphere. Were here for two nights and are absolutely convinced of the implementation of the concept with the shared kitchen and also beautiful garden. Totally flexible on site with a small 'shop‘ in the house, where you can relax and get everything important! The hosts were very friendly! Glad to come back

Very cool place to stay

Homekeepers were amazingly helpful and went the extra mile. Friendly, approachable and efficient. Great people.

The rooms were sparkly clean and pleasant to stay in. Great beds to have a good night's rest and a beautiful garden to have an early morning breakfast with the sheeps around and the sunrise. Completely worth a visit.

Everything worked out great, super hostess. The price was fair, of course the stay in an old castle is not very cheap. The surrounding area is very nice, you can take many great excursions and also a bus stop is nearby.

Located in a quiet village but with easy access to the tram into Würzburg. Excellent local Italian restaurant (di Ricci) which has a limited menu but the food is delicious .

Schloss Mörlbach is a special place. It’s so peaceful, the garden is lovely and the surroundings are beautiful. For children there are swings, trampoline, table tennis, badminton and a zip-line to play with outside. Everyone here are very friendly. If you don’t mind sharing facilities, it’s the perfect place to stay. Personally we have enjoyed it very much. There’s plenty of room and space for all to relax. The location is also great. It is not far from Münich and close to Starnberger See. There’s lots to see and do.

I had 2 wonderful congress nights that I was allowed to spend in the count's room. A beautiful house, great landlords, everything perfect, I will be happy to come back.

The stay was great, we felt very comfortable! The castle is a bit cold, but it could be heated in all rooms with a fireplace and there were hot water bottles :-) Really an absolute oasis of well-being. The garden with barbecue and fireplace is amazing and great for cozy campfire evenings :-)

It was clean when we arrived and we could easily get in through the key safe. Had very pleasant contact the next day with the staff at the reception about the sauna for the next day. Restaurant 20 meters away with delicious food and a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Good quality beds and shower. All in all great

The room I had is nice and large, with two beds and two "desks" by the window, it is bright with a private bathroom. There is a kettle in the shared hallway. It's a magical old villa. Unfortunately, the house is very noisy and the other guests (or residents?) of the house were also very lively at night (children's chatter, music, conversations, quarrels..). But maybe that was just bad luck. The street didn't bother me. There were double windows and very good roller blinds for blackout. Value for money just under 4 **** from me, because you have to go somewhere outside for breakfast and also invest in good earplugs :-) Also because of the noise, it could be a little cheaper. Overall, however, 5***** from me and also a recommendation, if you don't mind the noise.
