Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bastille, Paris

A group of us stayed for a week trip at Marlene’s place in May 2024. The location was amazing, Marlene was extremely helpful and responsive, and the house was very well-equipped. We had everything we needed for our stay! I will caution anyone with mobility issues - there are a lot of stairs and the layout of bathrooms is a bit odd, but we got used to it quickly and it worked well for our group. Would highly recommend to a group looking to get around Paris easily - close to a major metro station and very walkable.

The place is very cozy and clean. The host was very nice, there was no problem to leave the luggage earlier and check out later. We even got pastries! I highly recommend it ;)

A lovely little home away from home, with obvious attention to detail. Instructions for entry were accurate, everything was fresh and easy to use, and the little extras like copious chargers, one-way windows on the first floor for privacy and daily delivered breakfast were most welcome. Above all, Francois is an absolutely terrific host. Not intrusive, but extremely responsive and helpful. Francois truly responds almost immediately and provides extremely helpful information about the unit and the area. This petite maison is situated in a small courtyard in close proximity to waste receptacles for the neighbors, but there were no unpleasant odors in the very tidy unit and the location allows for privacy in a city teeming with life.

Pol’s place is a perfect oasis in the city. Peaceful, beautiful and private but in a great location. He was very responsive and helpful with tips for the house and the city. Would absolutely stay again

We spent three nights at Anne's place and loved the experience. Literally cannot think of a single complaint. The house was built in 1905 and it's clear that Anne has taken really good care of the place. Comfortable bedrooms and lots of spaces to hang out. The garden was beautiful. We would definitely return if we ever make it back to Paris!

Very nice host. The neighborhood is rather quiet and not particularly exciting. For this, you can stay comparatively cheaply and have a quiet stay. You definitely have to keep in mind at night that no more trains go to the neighborhood from certain times. I had to get a taxi then. However, I highly recommend the place. Thanks

Johanne’s place is beautifully designed and decorated, well equipped and very well located close to Gare de Lyon. The neighbourhood has some very nice restaurants. We would happily return. Johanne is a great host: good communication and with attention to details. Thank you!

Our stay at this apartment was amazing. We loved the neighborhood and all the local cafés and restaurants nearby. It's also within walking distance to Le Marais, which we adore, as well as many of the main attractions. The couch was incredibly comfortable (we wish we could take it home!), and the space truly felt like home with so many thoughtful details. We’ll definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

My sister and I were very comfortable staying at Victoire’s place!! Her apartment is so cute and we felt right at home. The area is great, many things to do and good places to eat within walking distance.

Very nice and large space, nicely furnished and quiet through the courtyard. Very pleasant communication with Frédéric. And super that he gives a lot of tips for restaurants and sights. Tip: rent bicycles at café Le Peloton (take the phone holder and ask for bicycle lights).

Zoe’s place was lovely! The apartment was quiet and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this apartment! The space is bright, beautifully maintained, and feels like the perfect Parisian getaway. The location is unbeatable, with a charming brasserie and a fantastic boulangerie just steps away—perfect for morning croissants and coffee. A special shoutout to Aldric, who went above and beyond to make our check-in seamless, even accommodating our late 1 AM arrival with warmth and professionalism. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located place in Paris, this is it. Highly recommend!

Great apartment ideally located in a central but quiet neighborhood. metro station is literally in front of the gate so it's a very convenient as a base in Paris to get yourself anywhere. so the main selling point is its location. the place itself has everything you need for a short stay.

Olivier is a great host. Always responsive and proactive with checkin/checkout. The place matches what is listed. The 11th was a great neighbor and felt very local with many restaurants near the place. Highly recommend

Christine is the consummate host(ess). We had a medical emergency, and she assisted us throughout our time with her. She met us at the train station, carried our luggage and walked through all the rooms in her apartment. Though she only speaks French, she uses her telephone to translate both written and verbal communications(s). Her apartment is located in the Canal St Martin area, a wonderful part of Paris. The accommodations are more than described-2 balconies, everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. This is one of the best AirBnb experiences we have ever had. It seems to me that all of our France AirBnb hosts have been wonderful. Thand you Christine for your kindness and hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Vincent’s place. Small but efficient. Always had my breakfast at home. It was wonderful to have the balcony and the wonderful view of Paris and many landmarks as well. Getting to and from the apartment on foot or using metro was very easy. Vincent was very communicative and welcoming. A friend of his welcomed me on my arrival and showed me around the apartment. I was very comfortable and felt safe. I certainly would return to Vincent’s place when I return to Paris.😁❤️ I felt at home and relaxed. Thank you so much. Hope to see you again soon.

A beautiful, intricate, spiral staircase leads to this quiet, calm, carefully designed apartment, with its Montmartre spirit. Bed extremely comfortable. Kitchen space has everything needed. Balcony with views to the sky. Great location near cafes, bakeries, patisseries and other artisinal shops. We had a wonderful stay.

Iris & Stephane are very communicative and helpful hosts. The apartment is like walking onto a movie set - a real experience! It is more spacious than expected, with gorgeous views of the park and in a great location - walking distance to many bistros, wine bars, shops, etc. The kitchen is well appointed and Iris & Stephane provided some lovely flowers, fresh fruit and champagne on arrival. There is a beautiful claw foot tub and basin in the bedroom, which makes up for the small boat style shower/toilet. My husband and I had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Thank you Iris & Stephane!

Apartment as described, clean and very nice. The instructions were clear and the host is responsive. In short, I'll come back without a second thought.

We visited Nicolas’s space on our honeymoon! The apartment was perfect. The view was incredible. Nicolas provided an abundance of both local and nonlocal recommendations. I wish we had time to explore all of them. The few that we did try, he was on point, he knows good food. You can’t beat the location. We walked to Montmartre, Galeries Lafayette, The Lourve, The Eiffel Tower, etc. it’s not far to get to the metro either. You have everything you would need to cook a meal and there’s a mini supermarket right around the corner. The views at night are worth the price. We will be back!
