Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bassetlaw District

Me and my wife Jude loved this place. Very scenic and peaceful yet within good distance to Leeds centre for when we wanted to do something more active. What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. Where do I start there is just so many positive things. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my sister and bridesmaids it was just beautiful in fact stunning. I was amazing. I asked for an early check in as I wanted to take some wedding things across, not only did Claire accommodate me she left a card chocolates and flowers, ironically from the same florist as my wedding flowers. I cried at the thoughtfulness. During the evening Claire then left homemade cakes at the door they were delicious btw. From myself and my wedding party you just blow us away from home he stunning cottage to the views and you being the most amazing kind host. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, I booked this for our family (10 of us) so we were all together for my sisters wedding nearby this was my first time using Airbnb and could not find a fault at all, check in was easy, the place is so spacious at no point did we feel too cramped the outdoor space is great the information pack left for us was great and came in handy for the day after wedding as we all felt a bit worse for wear Thank you

This venue was amazing. Clean, spacious, and with everything described. The host was friendly, accommodating, and replied to any questions within minutes. The countryside views, and the walks in this area are just idyllic. The family and I would 100% recommend.

This is our second visit in the space of 3 months. We specifically chose to return as it feels like home from home. Lesley and Jez are very friendly and accommodating. The lodge has everything we need, including a lovely garden and wonderful views. We highly recommend this accommodation, and won’t hesitate to book it again.

Booked Jo's place as I attended a wedding nearby and it was perfect. Had all the amenities, was cosy and clean. I recommend Jo's place!

Daniel was very helpful, very quick to respond to questions, went out of his way to assist in a booking issue with Airb&b, accommodation was fantastic, new apartments with very high specification including appliances, would totally recommend

Had the most wonderful stay in this little oasis. The space was beautiful with lots of colour and character, along with a file of thoughtfully written guide of everything you'll need to know. Lisa was also very accommodating and super responsive throughout, especially over check in/out days. We stayed only for the weekend but could imagine this place being a great option for longer term stay as well. The neighbourhood in general is gorgeous and quiet, very close to Brocco Park which is a beautiful walk and relatively well connected to public transport. We chose to walk mostly and took around 30minutes on average to get to most of where we want to go. Highly recommend!

Having a house number would have helped me to find it. Maybe I missed something but I needed to call to get advice on the exact location.

Absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The waterfalls were such a beautiful surprise, walk to the pub through the fields was short and easy and the cabin itself was exactly what we wanted and more. Paul and Julie were so helpful and accommodating and took time to show us around and chat about the house and surrounds. Have already recommended to friends and hope to visit again soon!

We’ve had the most wonderful weekend here, such a beautiful location, the pods are gorgeous and everyone is so friendly. Sarah and her family were so hospitable and responded to everything really quickly and with lots of ideas about what to do in the local area. My boys loved feeding the chickens and alpacas and really loved their bunk beds! They didn’t want to leave and neither did we. Thank you - we will be back and would recommend it to friends in a heartbeat x

What a great find, we loved staying at Melissa's place. It was so clean, so stylish and classy. The fire pit, BBQ and log burner hot tub were all in use and that, coupled with a walk around their gorgeous land, watching the baby goslings march by in the morning was exactly what we wanted and more. We'd 100% go back, in fact we are already talking about it! Also Melissa and her mum Chrissie were lovely and very responsive - thanks for a great stay guys!

A picturesque location, ideal for exploring Woodhall spa and WW2 areas, whilst enjoying the quietness of the holiday cabin. Host very helpful and quick to respond with all communication. 😀
